1993 Dark Burgundy Pearl VR6 Work to Date!

Fitted summer 2010:

Ball joints

New brake pipe

288mm Brakes (calipers, new discs and new pads)

Stripped and rebuilt rear calipers

New rear discs, bearings, pads

Not to mention a lot of wire brushing, sanding and painting to kill rust

Some pics:

Over christmas 2010, the cams were shifted and tappets replaced, in an effort to quell the hideous tapping the car is plagued with. This had the desired effect, and for the rest of my time at home the car was very quiet indeed. Unfortunately this didn't last, and as soon as the 170 miles back to my place of study was undertaken, the noise was back with a vengeance. How frustrating!

They do indeed mate! Very handy but not cheap I'm afriad.

Can be found here

Work perfectly for my VR as I cant actually get a jack under it, even with these I have to lessen the ramp gradient with some wood before it will go on them.
