Re: Advantage of VR6 BiTurbo and Single Turbo ??

I was not about the 1.8t,and twin or bi turbo set up's are not compound,do a search on google.

as for power for a decent Ar of 1.06 would be more suited, but with more lag, smaller AR is better spool but will puff out at the top if your aiming for 600hp

Re: Vornwend's Storm - Visit to DG Autos

VR6 turbo is a different world of performance, isn't it.. feels every bit as though it's twice ... :) Sounds good - I was lucky to go out, admittedly not for long, in a modified RS6 V8 Bi-Turbo Avant on Thursday night. Was putting out the wrong side of 500 bhp and with the window ...

Re: VR6 Turbo or Bi-Turbo 450-600 PS Threads needed

Have a look on the vortex as the yanks are big on building the big power VRT's and it's pretty much second nature to them.

Also it's only as good as the mapping so long as you build it strong and the map is good and you keep a food eye on afr's, etc then it will be good.

Re: VR6 Turbo or Bi-Turbo 450-600 PS Threads needed

... exact specs but your looking at making it bomb proof so new rods pistons bolts big valve head crank should be ok lots of balancing then size the turbo to the power you want to achieve. It will be laggy and may not boost till over 4k-5k then it's brakes suspension etc and a clutch then get ready ...
