Minor rubbing on the arches when I hit a large pot hole or big speed bump. Nothing major, I'd say perfect fit

T Yeah the final offset was 15. Only decent pictures I have are attached I only had spacers on the front.

with 20mm adapters the new offset will effectively be "20" with an 8J rim, when you space you subtract from the original offset of the wheel. From experience i know that an 8J fits on a VR6 with an offset of 35 but the fronts had to be spaced 20mm to clear brakes. It's trial and error unless someone else has used the same sized wheel as you. hope this helps somewhat. Jamie

Update: one of the carrier bolts was rounded from a previous owner, Back to the drawing boards. As in, hammer, chisel and lots of shouting.

Hi All, I know it's been covered many times, Im still a little unsure. Am i right in saying to change the rear disc's I need to remove the bearing first? And to do this I just hammer it out, take disc off, place new disc on, put new bearing in? Do my replacement discs each need an ABS rotor? Thanks

A friend of mine had her modified golf stolen, they set a time period for the car to be found/recovered. They will make sure you have been truthful with your insurance and you will be asked for all your documents, they will liaise with police etc If your car doesn't get recovered they will give you a settlement/value figure for the car and put it down as a stolen my recovered. Shame dude

I have recently purchased a sunroof as mine was broken (Sheared metal runner) The problem is, the cable doesn't seem to pull the left runner/mechanism. Nothing looks broken. I am so confused, this sunroof is the bane of my life! Any help would be appreciated

All you need is some cutters and crimps, of you don't have crimps use pliers as I did. Lights are brighter too due to the lower voltage drop :)
