  1. Note wheels on the Skoda...
  2. Nah seriously, if you're gonna get those, why don't you just get some Speedies? They're a lot cheaper. I rather liked these BBS Splitties, but I don't suppose they're very cheap...
  3. Yeah I have... you mean you haven't got them on your C!??! That nice red Alpina Bimmer by my garage has got light up Alpine sills, but they're done properly with a solid light up panel instead of a few crappy LEDs
  4. Now that is a quality bit of kit!! Shame it doesn't show it in all it's blingy action glory, but I'll be putting a bit in for at least £90. It has to be worth it
  5. Hmm ok looking at my credit card bill, it would seem that the total came to £31. I bought an expansion tank and I think something else, so the tank must have cost more than £12, probably more like £25 :( Edit: AHA! An oil filter was the other thing. So a tank and oil filter come to £31 combined...
  6. Now that sounds like a quality motor. I hope you've got a cheap 15" sub with the standard speakers in tow as well? I won't say anything about 6x9's cos I don't want to open that can of worms again
  7. Mmm Tron-y That is some top-notch photography too
  8. I was thinking more like ~30mm just so the wheels sit in the arches nicely. Yup, standard black cloth Recaros. They're like rocking horse poop 8)

  10. and Kev was down there last week...
  11. Don't quote me on that price... It'll match the new cap nicely though :)
  12. nice work my good man :D
  13. I've no idea, I haven't got toasty bum controls... It was worth a shot tho :)
  14. Depending on what Vince says on Monday, I may well take you up on that offer... thanks dude :)
  15. Have you had a look at this to see if you can fix the heater element instead? - http://the-corrado.net/how-to/index.php ... tails&id=3
  16. A new tank is pretty easy to fit (I did mine last week) and it's about £12 from the stealers... it'll make it a darn sight easier to see where the coolant is too :)
  17. Mmm heapy. You get your new avatar ok?
  18. I wouldn't stay on Vortex too long, some of the people on there will make you want to go on a killing rampage... Having said that, there are some seriously knowledgeble people on there too
  19. Yeah I now know that it is unfortunately the right ride height, but until I can afford to do a decent lowering setup all round, that's how it's gonna stay for now. I need to get the crappy starting sorted out next as it's gonna kill the starter motor if I don't. Then I think wishbones and ball-joints depending on how much the starting problem costs to fix. I'm hoping it's just dirty injectors (and judging by the state of the fuel filter, it would make sense). So hopefully some decent quality injector cleaner should sort it out. If not then it's gonna have to be an injector rebuild. Mind you, I think you said it was only £15 each at Bosch? Not a bad price, but it means I've got to have something else to drive in the mean time...
  20. Yeah the VDU thing is an almost ok idea, but crap in practice. The animation things are just a distraction anyway, so I turn them off. The auto-inverse colours thing was really doing my nut in at night time, but Kev showed me how to turn that off too, so I'm a happy chappy now 8)
  21. As promised, if a little late...
