  1. I have a set of 16" 5x100 BBS split rims. Centres are painted white. There are a few marks but no dents or buckles. Wheels run perfectly straight and true.

Three matching Uniroyal rain sport tyres with good tread and one almost new Maxxis tyre in 195/45/16 size.

Happy to courier at cost, wrapping them up is no problem.

    £220 plus courier.

  2. I have a full set of VR6 Speedline alloys for sale. Two have been quickly painted with a rattle can, the other two are untouched. Tyres have good tread, but are old and I don't know if they hold air etc. Centre caps are all present and fit fine.

I have just bought these from eBay, but have now got a set of solitudes so would like back what I won them for.

Happy to send these via a courier

Located in South East Kent .£60 plus courier

  3. My G60 turbo converted Jetta is making a faint but noticeable noise.

You can hear it when driving or when idle at around 2/2.5k revs. It's only there on light throttle, doesn't appear to do it on full throttle.

It sounds like a light knocking noise. It's not loud, but is there

Initially I was convinced it's coming from the gearbox, as that's the side of the engine bay it appears to come from, but am now thinking it could be the rod bearings.

No drop in engine performance or any other signs .At idle the engine sounds very healthy and ticks over smoothly.

Anything else that would indicate rod bearing problems?

    Are they a simple fix?

    Thanks

  4. Our 92 VR6 currently has an annoying problem. Sometimes, normally when at low speed in traffic is will violently .Kangaroo. It feels like the engine has no fuel. If you dip the clutch and give the engine a rev, it clears through.

All ignition components are new expect the dizzy. There are no air leaks etc. I've read that the throttle position sensor can cause these kangaroo symptoms.

    Only happens at light throttle.

Secondly, where on earth can I get a new one?

    Thanks

  5. It's an IHI VF turbo (24 I think)

Running standard G60 management with a base map from Jabbasport for the turbo. Red top injectors, standard engine internals.

Car runs very rich, bore washing to some extent. Can't work out why .Ecu vacuum hose is new and 11M long .No air leaks.

Also, what boost controllers are people running? The turbo actuator is not adjustable, so must need an electronic one to up the boost as they car does not seem overly quick.

Any people running a turbo could you give a description of your setups......with pics if possible?

    Thanks

  6. I know there were a couple on here before.

I have a IHI turbo converted G60 but have a few questions about the setup. Fuelling, boost controllers etc

Can anyone point me in the direction of someone who knows this setup?

Jabbasport will be mapping the car in the new year, but I would like to get it running properly before then.

    Thanks

  7. This is a pretty stupid question, but here goes

I need to remove the engine bay loom from my VR6, and fit a new one (same type of loom). Is there anything I need to know or is it fairly straightforward?

    Any tips would be appreciated

    Cheers

  8. For sale due to leather upgrade

Nice condition black cloth VR6 interior. Overall good condition. Drivers upper bolster has started to thin, but the lower bolster is in great condition. Foam is a little soft, but no holes or rips. Passenger seat is in great condition with the exception of a bloody fag burn. There is a small burn in the rear seat too.

All tilt cables work as they should.
