  1. I think the oil leak at the front of my 've6 could be the seals on the oil cooler as that seems to be a known issue.

My question is, where is the best place to get the seals from?

    Would VW still do them?

    Thanks

  3. You seem tempted so do what you feel is right. How did it drive? What's your gut instinct? That rust on the rear could be an easy fix. Mine had it there, but once I rubbed it back it was fine......Just surface rust. I've seen some develop holes there though.

    Good luck searching

  4. I've just gone to remove the front bumper on my VR6. Easy job I thought. One of the bolts holding the bumper on has sheared. The other three came out on. Is my only option to now drill the bolt out? The head came clean off. The other three were ******* tight.

  5. Ive got to change a wing on my vr6.

My question is, how easy is it to remove one wing and refit another?

I dont need to worry about the old wing as its destined for the bin. Are they easy to line up properly when refitting?

Any help would be much appreciated

  6. What plugs have you put in? I had something similar years ago when I tried something other than the standard (non-iridium) NGK plugs.

    Best wishes

They are Beru plugs that I have fitted. Would I be better replacing with NGK plugs? The old ones were Bosch
