Got the same problem, oil leak coming from the back of the engine probably losing about the same about of oil as well. Where abouts is the oil pressure switch ? Gonna have to have a closer look

Anyone here own or knows who owns J730 WDA from Salisbury? Grey/Blue G60 with a very big exhaust that has flames coming out of it :-) Followed you up around the ringroad when i could keep up ;-)

Well having a quick look at where i was going to fit everything today and noticed something really bad, WHERE THE HELL AM I GOING to put the pump? There is no room for the damn thing anywhere in the engine bay, where are you guys going to fit it? Also i received very little of the blue tubing, where can i get some more of the stuff because i think am going to need it. Cheers Ian

Are you sure, pretty sure mine didn`t, althou would explain why i can`t figure out what makes the main beam go off :?

Anyone figured out how to rewire these lights so they main beam stays on when you put the full beam on ? Because full beam is shite on its own and unless you have an HID conversion done theres no real point in the main beam going off.

Its worth have ago yourself, Its not that hard really, Did mine Monday after mine developed a leak. Hardest part is finding the screws that hold the heaterbox in place and two very awkward screws on my car , Passenger side vent and 2, The screw under the scuttle panel by the wiper assembly, had to pop off the linkage for the wiper to get at it. But apart from that it wasn`t as bad as it looks. A couple of things i would say 1, remember when all the screws go(still got 2 left over from mine :lol: and 2, Plan at least a whole day to do it, mine took 7hours with a mate helping Good luck Ian

Did bleed the system by first starting and the stopping the engine until all the oil was sucked into the pipes, then left it to idle for a while followed by turn the wheel lock to lock, althou i turned the wheel quickly not slowly. Most of the air bubbles in the bottle when gone, still had a little but not much. Will do it again and see what happens Cheers Ian Oh by the way, if anyone needs to know the PAS system takes about a litre of fluid. Looked everywhere to find how much oil i needed, ended up buying to bottles of green PAS fluid to be on the safe side.

Hi Had John at JMR change the guide roller on my car when he fitted the ported T/B(Which is great :-) ) but ever since theres been a consent squeak coming from it, Pretty sure its not the belts, but looking at it closely looks like the guide roller is just touching the tension assembly ? Whats the normal clearance between the top of the guide roller and the tension assembly? Everything looks like its mounted correctly, Is the tension roller the same part no. as the guide roller BTW because when i took to garage before to have them change the guide roller, they changed the tension roller ( Go firgure :mad: ) Any ideas because the consent squeaking is driving me crazy :mad: :scratch: :crazyeyes: Thanks Ian

Hi Just changed the PAS fluid following the instruction given in the Golf/Jetta repair manual, everything went well but the pump seems noiser now is that normal ? Used green PAS fluid from GSF, Not sure what was in there before but it wasn`t green, Black now what ever it was Any ideas? Thanks Ian

Oh great, Just found a very large crack on my windscreen was going to call autoglass for a replacement :-( Might leave it now How bad is a crack that is about 3" from the bottom of the passenger side and is about 5" long then drops down towards the bottom of the screen ?

Cheers Furki for the offer but luckly an old engineering mate of mine was free so he helped(well did 99.9% of the work) Glad he was there would of given up after 5mins otherwise, not that hard to remove but a bloody pain in the arse. Started at 10:30 finished 5:30. Hardest part was finding the bolts that hold the heater assembly in place and putting the wiring loom back into place which we failed at really just ended throwing it back where we could, strangely the rattle i had before has now gone :-) Here`s some pics of all the fun we had:-

Hi Was saying to a mate of mine about how am dreading the heater matrix going on my c after his had gone on his vauxhall(NO GREAT LOSS) and guess whats just started leaking coolant this week :-( Right i`ve done a search and found the instruction on how to change the matrix on a VR6 the same as a G60 i take it? Anything else i need to know before i try to do it? except the fact thats its a pain in the arse :-) Any tips or advice would be great Cheers Ian
