  1. go here m8 http://www.kf010a4571.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/airboxmod/
  2. Sorry, quite new to chargers, although i have had the car 3years now...... All i done to the charger is to fit a BBM RSR outlet,a isv re-route kit and a K&N filter in a modded air box, engine wise fitted a 3.5FPR. So what would you recommend for a charger upgrade ? What is a R1 charger ? Cheers
  3. Sh!t, are Jabbasport that bad, Really need to get my charger looked at soon. Was gonna go there  Where else does a stage 4 charger or similar upgrade ?
  4. Don`t do that, thought you set fire to it already
  5. Damn, Now am confused i was told to take it off the actual intake/FPR pipe :!: :?:
  6. The gauge is going where the ashtray is at the mo, never use the ashtray so thats going completely. made the mounting plate for it just need to fit & wire it up. The gauge is a Auto meter 4376 boost/vac gauge, which i got from america. It states in the instructions that it must be connected to a switched +12v source that maintains power during engine cranking, otherwise the auto zero function will not work properly and incurrate readings will result :!:  Just to make sure did you connect your boost gauge to the intake manifold, the tube that goes to the fuel pressure regulator because thats where i was told to fit it too :?: Ian
  7. It needs a power supply during start up for a self calibration test :? Gonna finish it off 2moro, just done the blanking plate for the gauge to sit in at the mo Whats the easy way of getting behind the centre console without remove the damn thing :?:
  8. OMG, that is so sweet mate Just 1 question those jbl speakers in the front door, are they in the standard door pods or is that custom, can`t really see in the pics and what model no., size, etc.....speakers are they ? Ian
  9. Thank god for that, replacing them when i get round to getting some speakers anyhow Cheers Ian
  10. Right here goes the wires was in a bundle of 8 wires, the colours i cut thru are : BROWN/BLUE BROWN/BLACK BROWN/RED RED/GREEN BLUE/GREEN The one`s i missed colours were : RED BLUE BROWN/WHITE Any ideas
  11. Hi, Just done a silly thing. I am fitting a boost gauge to where the front ashtray used to be, making a blanking plate to fit over the gap when you remove the ashtray but the boost gauge was slightly too big to fit so i cut abit from the bottom of the ashtray hole and cut straight thru about 4 wires  The thing is everything seems to work, any ideas what these wires are for? could it be speaker wire, its hard to tell because only 3 of the six orignal speakers have been working for a while now....really have to get round to buy some decent speakers But any ideas what they are for ? Cheers Ian
  12. Nice one mate, Can`t wait these lights, take it they will be here before inters :) But anyway THANKS ! Ian
  13. Good point about Awesome, didn`t notice that, Swines :( Looks like Koni shocks & H&R springs then, any ideas for the best place to get them :?:
  14. Here`s mine Again sorry for the crap camera phone pics, really gonna have to buy a digital camera
  15. Take it to inters without any paint on it then, just think of the weight your be saving going down the 1/4 mile strip :D
  16. Go with Steatlh, although never had any dealings with them but the first year i went to inters i went to talk with the people at TSR and they weren`t abit interested i what i had to say. Tossers
  17. Looking on Awesome GTi site and they got koni shocks & eibach springs setup for £425 which i heard was a good setup. Gonna have to think about this one. Although just got a new job so i might treat myself :) Cheers for all the help Later Ian
  18. Hi, Am looking into getting some new shocks/springs because i changed the front shocks to boge turbo gas about 2years ago and the front looks like a 4x4. There really shite, When you wellie it the front goes all over the place, I don`t get any feel from the front. It jerks sideways alot of the time when just driving. I`ve had it setup, tracking, etc.... all checks out ok So what would be the best setup for a Corrado G60, ride height is a issue because i have to go round a U-bend which is also uphill to get to my place :( Cheers Ian
  19. Very nice, Never thought about putting it there then come to think about where are the two horns which are there on my car ?.... and you haven`t got great big lump of metal there either(charger) Where did you get that red funnel type thingy from ?
  20. Ah, Cheers beavis, expect a phone call 2moro about a oil catch tank :D Talking of oil, i seem to have quite alot of oil in the boost pipe especially close to the throttle body, is this normal ? i remember when i fitted the isv re-route kit about 2 years ago there being alot of oil around What i know of the charger is that there is no oil coming back out onto the K&N air filter which i think is the first sign of a problem, RIGHT ? Maybe time of an overhaul  Ian
  21. Hi, I got an electric boost gauge for my G60, i know where to connect it too to get a boost/vacum reading but the instructions state that it must be connected to a switched +12 volt source that maintains power during engine cranking ? Any ideas what stays active when going from the ON position to the START position ? Also would the later type indicator and wiper stalks fit straight onto an early J 92 Corrado, and where the cheapest place to get these stalks ? Cheers for any help Ian
  22. Right, I`ve come up with a comprise on the noise front, What i have done is too put back the boost return pipe but blocked off the breather inlet to it. Didn`t like the idea of putting oil vapors back into the system :( At the moment i`ve got the breather pipe hanging down the side of the engine  so i need to get myself a oil catch tank, but where is the best(& cheapest) place to get one? I see pitstop developments have a mocal system for £86 but i thought that catch tanks had a air filter on top of them ? and whats the second intake pipe for on them? one must be for the breather pipe and the other is ???? WHAT ALOT OF QUESTIONS :?: Hope some1 can help Cheers Ian
  23. Well i thought i`ll have ago at this mod, just made a temp blanking plate out of some high impact plastic i had lying around. First impression are that it feels more responsive and the noise it makes when you change gear is brillant  :-P BUT the noise it makes when you are just driving around is bloody terrible, people where looking around to see if i had something wrong with me car   So looks like i`ll put it back on 2moro, SHAME :(
  24. Hi g60bv send the pics to me i can post them for you mailto:[email protected]
