  2. Well still waiting for henny to put up the pics, but managed to find them elsewhere but what size thread do i need ? 2 options : 80 PSI Oil pressure sender 1/8" - 27NPT or Oil Pressure Sender 80Psi M10x1 Am thinking i need the m10 right ? Cheers
  3. Woohoo :-D Are you fully operational now? Looks nice and tidy, so now long will that last  See you soon ;-)
  4. Me like, think you give me the intercooler off of it thou
  5. Pollen filter? where the heck does it go? wouldn`t mind fitting one maybe get rid of the oilly smell coming from my engine bay at the mo. :-(
  6. g60greeny too be honest, no haven`t really noticed any difference in performance but you do get a deeper sounding roar from it 8) Haven`t really tested it much though, will test it out over this week! Is it worth the money?, Ummm I`ll get back to you on that one, but it does look cool though 8)
  7. Been doing more work on the car this weekend after having last weekend off ;-) 1. Fitted the SWG Twin inlet kit 2. Fitted new silver pedal extensions(last ones were blue, and very wore out) 3. Got a new outside temp sensor (357 919 379A)@£20.73 from VW stealers re-located temp sensor to cold air feed pipe 4. Re-fitted ISV re-route kit due to boost only going upto 12.5PSI when it was hitting 15PSI before i removed it although found one of the boost pipes half off  Fitting the twin inlet kit wasn`t too bad, pain in the arse trying to get the pipes aligned correctly. Hardly any room to get the pipes on in the first place. Had the same concerns as Mike_g60 about the quality of the new airbox cover, feels like cheap plastic but it is well up to the job (i make airboxs for a living, and the one we produce are far strong(thicker) quality) Also the alternator cover does not fit my alternator, thought it was just catching a bit so trimmed some off only to find it doesn`t line at all with my alternator so had to modify my old one to fit which (i think anyway!) looks better. Some pics:-
  8. Yeah m8 post them up, only after a volt & oil pressure gauge with the correct sender for it
  9. Hi Am not happy with the 2 auto gauge smoke gauges i have at the mo, the problem is they look well cool at night but during the day you cannot see them at all really... :-( yes they have been wired up correctly to be brighter when the lights are off but the problem is the smoked glass fronts reflect the sunlight so you can`t actually see when the gauge is reading  Anyhow i decided i like the look of the VDO vision series, so two questions 1, Is there a place in the uk i can buy them, only managed to find them on egauges.com which is a USA site but not bad price for them! 2, I want to fit a oil pressure gauge, which sender do i need ? Any help will be greatly appreciated Cheers Ian
  10. Right another little change to the interior, fitted my old auto meter ultra-lite electric boost gauge into a a-pillar pod so now i can see what boost am running :-D Not happy with the auto gauge gauges, there impossible to read in daylight, the sun reflects off the smoke glass fronts. They look well cool at night but think am gonna take them out and fit some VDO vision volt & oil pressure gauges instead Some more updates:- Fitted a richbrook sabre roof aerial Fitted some spinning anti-theft valve caps (wonder now long they last this time) Heres a pick of A-pillar boost gauge
  11. I had one that was 10cm too short and it made a difference when i got the correct length pipe on there :-)
  12. exactly !!! Where do you order one from? or can`t you at the mo?
  13. Me want too, even though doubt my engine actually needs it but i still want one
  14. Yeah they are auto gauge dials and i have wired them up right, its just when the sun shines on them they are really quite hard to read  They look really cool 8) at night though :-)
  15. Nice, £30 you jammy git !!!!!
  16. Yeah i`ll be up for a kit, would want to see a pic of it first though :!: As for the colours why not have something like McLaren F1 use Green, Red, Blue
  17. Thanks for the comments :D Gonna change the boost gauge for a oil pressure gauge mainly due to the fact you can`t really see the boost gauge where it is, so gonna put that up on the a-pillar. Apart from that am really happy at the way it turned out 8) The USA wing mirrors are blue tinted so it reduces the glare from car lights behind you. They work really well.
  18. Woohoo, finished at long last...wasnt too bad to fit. only just noticed i scaped up the console a bit when i was messing around with it :-( but nevermind! Havent wired the boost switch up yet because the water injection not fitted (thats next) Oh, and the smoked gauges are a pain to read when the lights on them but not as bad as i feared :-( Heres the pics
  19. Well if it didn`t work i would take it back to complain
  20. Well thats gonna hopefully allow me to switch the water injection kit on & off when i get around to fitting that  Yeah, came out better than i thought still not 100% happy with gauges alighnment they still seem to be off but smeg it...its close enough
  21. Right started remaking the template out of plastic this time for the final version, a bit of a pain working with plastic as the tesco chopping board is made out of soft plastic so when you drill holes the plastic melts :-( But after hours of fine sanding with the now working dremmel i`ve finally made it, just finished covering in fine grain vinyl leather will leave it over night to let the glue dry and then cut out the holes for the gauges and stuff tomorrow...hopefully might get around to fitting the whole thing over the weekend!
  22. Centre console project #2 Right been thinking about doing a new console for ages now to fit a couple of gauges & put the cig socket back in. Got a plastic chopping board from tescos for about £3 to make it out of. Progress so far:- This is the MDF test template, will be making the real one out of the chopping board tomorrow Shame the gauges aren`t level otherwise would be tempted just to use the MDF test piece  Panel gonna hold 2 gauges, Volt & boost, a Honda S2000 engine starter button, a button marked Boost to switch the water injection on/off and the original cig lighter socket.
  23. Yeah it was good for me, made him feel a complete tw@t when i said look it says you have to remove the oil pump to fit the tray, D`oh! Dim Bar  Thanks Ian
  24. Yeah i was a bit shocked when my passed, he said he didn`t do the emission test and said something about he didn`t put it on the rollers because my RS4 bumper was a bit low ?
