C'mon Shaun, you must have done something to her.... post a pic up so we can enjoy her too.
-
Loving that idea π Keyo, I thought you bought a steering wheel earlier this year π
-
Ha ha, totally agree π
-
I think so. I do have some BBS for the summer π
-
Thread revival ish... I did speak with Vince, who explained that the Schrick one is obsolete and that I need to get an rpm controller, MSD do one that requires an rpm add on. Turns out that the one that came with my Schrick is a JEGS 40826. Now I know what it is I can play with getting it to work. I will post up if successful as it is a cheaper alternative to nothing π€£π€£

That does look fantastic, well done. Did you make it? I know that stuff is not cheap to do.
-
Thanks for the recommendationπ. I'm going to see if I can find some locally
-
That would.be a nice little project. Hmmm..
-
Sent two of the Speedlines to the powdercoated. All balanced and I have just sealed them with some gtechniq wheel armour. If they make the rear ones look bad I will have to do those tooπ Also had the service done at VW today. They didn't do much but it was extremely cheap as they looked after me. All the technicians loved the Corrado π Can anyone recommend a tyre gel to paint on. I did use a mates last time and it wasnt as messy on the alloy as the autoglym spray stuff And got the Corrado absolutely filthy driving her around in this horrendous weather π. Great to be out in her though

Quality ok! That's made me worry... Santa is bringing mine as I got it delivered to my mums. Going to fetch it now, peep at it then put it away. forward to this. g0ldf1ng3r, thanks for sorting this for us ππ

So, as I have a set of 15" Speedlines vs the 90s OZ 16" alloys.... which way do I go? Speedlines look great although the OZ do fill the gap better !!! Hmmm. Someone's going to get a refurbed set of cheap alloys soon π
-
Ha, where have you been?
-
2 presentable and 2 not so pretty but better than most. I will get these 2 powdercoated ASAP. 4 good centre caps and 4 great 205 50 15 tyres. Happy with the purchase even if it was 180 mile round trip. Need to get rid of the others I have and 2 new tyres that have been sat in my shed for a couple of years. Fancy Scirocco alloys fitting a Corrado π
-
I think the elves are collecting mine so that Santa can deliver it. π
-
Just pop it out. Easily done. It pulls towards you. Or get your hand up underneath and push it out. Then disconnect the wiring plug
-
The title gets your attention. So I bought some a couple of years ago as I want to get the car standard looking, but still haven't got round to refurbishing them. Then on ebay a set came up, with tyres and ALL 4 CENTRE CAPS, not looking too bad and could go on the car straight away. Β£73 and I thought bonus ππ He was only selling them for fiitting a SCIROCCO π€£π€£π€£π€£ππ

She's looking good mate. If you are happy then it must be good. Have you put anything back on this weekend?
-
Took her out for a spin today over I the Peak District. Slippy day so I kept it sensible. I cant help but enjoy driving her, so she has to get dirty for me ππ I did think about wrapping her up over the Winter, but as I have waited so long to drive her.... she needs to keep me interested. Plus it reminds me of the little jobs that i need to do for her

Ooo those BBS are super shiny, very nice. I would just hang them on a wall in the house so I could look at them. And they would stay clean.
