  1. Just in case you have never heard of this company, my mate from the VW Golf mk1 world started his own Classic VW parts company a few years ago and he is now moving into Corrado parts as well. If it's not listed on his website just message him as his contacts are far and wide. Through time he also started building up full suspension and brake kits etc with new parts and the needed original parts newly powder coated like the front strut holders and Spring caps. His prices are way cheaper IMO than rivals so give him a spin http://www.classic-vw.co.uk/corrado-1287-c.asp
  2. I will take them thanks, message me your PayPal details please.
  3. I've just came from mk1's and the values have gone stupid IMO. I sold both my crackers this year in less than 24hrs and for good money but not ott silly money that people are now asking. I personally think Corrados are great value and in my world the correct price for my toy. I am doing what others are saying that people are doing, as in buying a decent car and making it the best it can be without ruining it and without bankrupting myself. If I had more skills I would do it all myself like said above but sadly I've not.
  4. Just don't this on my car and ordered another for the passenger side. What a great simple idea, thanks very much for the great idea :clap:
  5. Looking good and I wish I had your skills !!
  6. Stole or borrowed this idea. Cup holder for the Rado. So easy it's only a 70mm P clip and attached to the front seat fixing in the already drilled hole. Read the idea on this forum and praise to its inventor  It even folds up out the way Going to do the passenger side as well.
  7. Got a price back for getting my spare Speedlines powder coated black but with a diamond cut lip which I think will look great on spacers front and rear
  8. Andi I am a new member and I am o the forum every day several times, getting info and just browsing. I was a massive user of the Vw Golf mk1 owners club forum for the last 5 years and in the top 20ish for posts which shows my enthusiasm for these platforms. Although a newbie, I thank you for all the hard work that you will have done over the years and if it wasnt for people like yourself, these things would not exist. Hats off Chris

    Number Plates

DMB graphics do the dealer set and I had them on my 2 mk1 Golfs, great quality if they have your supplying dealer info. I get metal pressed plates from eBay nowadays for £20, look great and don't tarnish like normal plates.
  10. My daily GTD goes into my detailer on Thursday for 2 days work so i popped on his FB page and he has a deal on with his gift vouchers. Xmas special deal £50 gift voucher for £35, so my 5 day full car paint correction is £300, which is already cheap but now it's only £210. His quality is brilliant and he is already great value but now it's a proper bargain :thumbleft:
  11. That's what I thought when I read the thread but there was loads that were sweating by thread lock ? I torqued mine correctly and checked them at the end of the week.
  12. Thanks I'm happy with the finish and it's now a rust free car. Now need to think about starting to do something with the pile of parts in the garage
  13. Cars back from the bodyshop and it looks great, totally delighted with quality, finish and price.
  14. So bought another set of near mint Speedlines with centre caps for £50 !! I think I will get these ones refurbed black and the other ones grey at a later date.
  15. I would say your normal bolts would be fine but just make sure you torque them correctly and ivecread that a few people use thread lock which I've not used but will use when I put my spacers back on after I take my winter wheels off.

  17. I don't have the wheel answer but for narrower spacers upto around 15mm iirc buy them with extended bolts but above that you are better with spacers that bolt on your hubs then you use your normal wheel bolts. I've got both on my daily, 10mm spacers on the front with longer bolts and 20mm spacers on the rear that bolt on the hub. Fronts are H&R and rears Stance. Only get hubcentric.
  18. Box and suspension look like new :thumbleft:
  19. Cheers I love seeing a good classic car getting upto it's best standard but keeping it as original as possible
  20. Picking the car up tomorrow from the bodyshop. Pics look amazing with all the dings all removed, the front arch blister cut out and new metal welded in then the stonechip reapplied and blown in. Then the tailgate glass removed and the main blister cut out and new metal welded in and then the full tailgate painted. Car will get professionally paint corrected after Xmas to bring it upto the best standard I can.
  21. So my very cheap Speedlines arrived and I gave them a very very rough spray to see what I like. Pics are rubbish but one in silver with black inserts and the other black with silver inserts. If I was doing 2 colours I think against the grey car I would do black wheels with grey inserts or just black all over ??
  22. New rear VR6 badge arrived from China which looks great so that I can have 2 sets of badges, one set original and one set Matt black. Wee VW screwdriver as well
  23. http://www.ebay.co.uk/ulk/itm/262134102704 I agree it is odd ? If it had been around when I was buying a couple of months ago, I would have def viewed it !!
