Do you know what I'm disappointed by? It's a good game. I'd even go so far as to say it's a great game. BUT ... what the f**k have they been doing for the last 5+ years?!?!
-
Pics would be good :) You say the d-pad is all-or-nothing but isn't it like the right-hand buttons themselves i.e. pressure sensitive? In other words, accelerate and brake rely on how much pressure is asserted.

I think I know what you're driving at but I haven't used a wheel so you're better placed than me to comment. I just would have thought the cars have a pre-determined maximum degree of 'full lock' and it would be irrelevant whether you had a wheel or pad. Although obviously with the wheel you do get a more life-like driving experience.
-
But you won't be able to turn the car wheels 900 degrees  hehe Shirely the actual wheels still only turn to the same degree regardless of the input? Or am I missing what you've said?
-
Cheers Matt. My question was pretty much aimed at you and I did mean to say that I'd love to see some pics of what you've fashioned together :)

First time poster, long time reader. Been playing for a couple of weeks now and I think I quite it. Level 17 or something with licenses done and majority of special challenges (as far as I'm allowed anyway). Finding it a bit annoying that some of the A-spec races are so specific in what cars are needed. Question to those with wheels who have played with pad beforehand. Does a wheel actually help with the game i.e. you'll be setting a lot faster laps .... or is it just a lot better experience, but you're still limited by ability?

What makes you think it's holding enough charge? Spidey sense? Hehe Have you tested what voltage it's putting out? It's surprising how little of a drop is needed in order to cause you problems. If it bump starts then that eliminates a lot of the common problems.

Exactly as Wullie says - this has been covered pretty much to death and if you just use the search you will find plenty of things to try. Advanced Search (http://www.the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/search.php) +VR* +stall* Instead of the +stall* bit, you could try putting +ISV instead Select Engine Bay and also return topics rather than posts.

It's a tough call but: SLS, Ferrari, Porsche. The sheer looks and noise of the SLS would do it for me. Although that Ferrari is absolutely stunning in every way. The Porsche, although nice, for that kinda money, I just don't really get. Sorry.

Kev, you could always delete some of the filth and ease the burden on your poor, overworked instrument of porn.
-
Is it so bad you couldn't even download a torrent of it?

:salute: More than welcome

Arthritis in the knees?

Sorry, nearly missed the last paragraph as my name's not Andy :) My reply was to Kev's and was not, for one minute, suggesting that you don't listen to people's advice. I was basically just saying that Kev knows what he's talking about when it comes to most things but that boy has been through more Dynamat-type products than I've dished out bannings  I've sound-proofed mine but not to extremes. However, Kev Dynamatted his roof AND BMC air filter as he felt it was a bit too noisy  so he's very much on your level in terms of approach to sound deadening. Basically if he says it doesn't make a huge amount of difference, you have to weigh up whether you think it's worth the time/cost.
-
If you take on board just one CF post this year, make it this ^^^ one. When it comes to Dynamat (other alternative products are available), Kev knows his stuff  This could be an urban legend, that I think I might even have started started, but did you once Dynamat your BMC?

How about a full model/colour poll [Attention Corrado Nerds]
VR6 replied to v8rumbler's topic in General Car Chat
I think he's saying surely not because they aren't really any UK cars bearing that colour. Not many anyway! I don't think he's saying it because of dislike. -
Ah ha! I quite like that idea!
-
That's the worst part - no!! I bet the git even leaned on the back of the car while he wrote the note!
-
In the interest of fairness, I thought I'd allow this to be posted. You're not trying to pull the wool? Seriously? Save your time and your BS stories for elsewhere.

BANNED (Not you Bill )

Exactly, thanks Martin.

Come on Karl, we're not doubting the car. We're doubting the deceitful knob that's selling it. Benefit of the doubt doesn't come into it. There's NO way that my informant  was told that it had been bought from a breakers as a write-off only for this story to turn up about a Gran that's owned it for the last 92 years.
-
Very true and don't rule it out as a course of action. He IS the 2nd owner and it's possible that he wasn't aware of it being written off. BUT Personally I think it's a bullshit way of trying to sell a car and he's a complete liar.
