I don't think the primary objective of the thread was obtaining a valuation. The relays should be part of the loom .... if not they're damn expensive!

If you're just talking about the actual loom fixed to the underside of the seats then the odds are that there's no loom under the carpet. The loom is pretty expensive/hard to get hold of unfortunately and will need all the carpet and trim removing + access to the fusebox and rear doorcard taking off.

Is the loom under the carpet connected into the seats? Presume there's no switch in the dash? Seems strange that it's got everything connected into the seats. They only got the loom if they had heated seats installed in the factory.

Andy, just some feedback from our point of view. I know exactly where you're coming from but we (could just be me; I can't speak for the other Mods), are well aware of the issue with people just using this site free of charge to a) break cars that this forum is dedicated to b) profiteer from it and c) do absolutely nothing in return. On the one hand, it's unfair to discriminate in individual cases where someone is obviously just here as a trader but on the other I hate seeing genuine long-standing members feeling pissed off. What do you think? Should we be stamping stuff like this out or is it the case that it's a free world (despite Andi and the forum members actually paying for the server costs), and let people trade as they like?

Pretty sure they're not from a VR. Not sure about the comment on 'early style VR'. Personally I just think they're not for a VR full stop.

Not really sure why this belongs in the Technical section tbh. You're not asking how an ABS sensor works or should be replaced. You're just trying to get hold of a part which is either a Wanted ad if you're talking second hand .... or a Supplier forum question if you're asking about who can provide a new part.

Yeah just give it a stab yourself - nothing complicated, although can be a bit fiddly ... and even worse if it's minus 5 and you don't have a nice warm garage!
