thanks, i have cleared everything out, thats the hole i was thinking could drain back into the car some how- or is this just not possible! I'm gona go to my windscreen friend today and get him to put some silicone along the scuttle panel and windscreen just to make sure the water doesnt get down there and goes to outsides down the drainage holes. - then wait to see how tht goes.
-
The leak appears to be running in from the top passenger wheel arch inside (i cant see under the electrics etc) but is there any possibility water can leak from the scuttle drainage hole out down the arch and back in???? (ive never taken the wheel arch off so dont know?
-
i have a leak in the passenger side which is mainly running down from right hand side of the footwell (near centre console side) Ive cleared a whole forest of crap out of the gully part its still leaking? I now want to remove the fragile scuttle panel (h- its quite well stuck down, but i want to check under it then re-seal it (prob with halford black silicone). Any advice / tips please? I have used the search- need moe help LOL.

Looking great mate, well done. - i remember it being filfthy a few months back when you kindly dropped off my gearbox LOL, so major improvement. Glad you found it relaxing - a different story for me having to do 4 - 20 cars a day LOL. -
Thankyou, that really helps, Trim-star.co.uk Ravaling.

you still say Radiant and SRP are different. I still dont agree... i was told and from what i remember of retail SRP they are the same. I will buy some SRP from a store to compare with my radiant though. BUt im 90% sure they are the same product You know best mate! let me know when youve tried it.

-
Sorry, my fault, Radiant - in the yellow tin. Super Resin polish (srp) in the red......these are the two that are different lol. yep 03b's the one i like. Ultra deep shine is actually quite impressive, a must on dark coloured cars but time consuming, difficult applying, taking off process., so good luck when you do try it. The newest one is Ultra Deep Shine (black retail bottle) but i havent used it yet and dont know much about it apart from conrad at AG said it containes no cutting agents?!?! Im confussed by your description of SRP. i'll ask the AG rep when i see him next
-
well either he is blowing smoke up your ass... or conrad, one of the co developers at autoglym is lying? To be completely honest i havent used SRP in ages because i have radiant wax by the tin load. I will have to get a bottle and sample it again soon me thinks. Yep ive sworn by radiant for years -saved me lots of time and effort many a times lol. SRP is the longlasting, top gloss etc for newer cars, has never 'renovated' paint for me. AGR is for oxidised, swirly, dull older paint and is pretty good to mop with.

Gentleman Herisites, thankyou. If i had one LOL -any idea if i can fit the passat VR6 badge from Awesome gti easily to it?
-
Yeah the quick clay is good. The AG radiant wax is the same as super resin polish. IMO a brilliant product that is massively under-rated! Dont get me going again  - radiant has more of a cut than resin - even the autoglym sales guy told me theyre the same (THEY WORK COMPLETEY DIFFERENT, THEYRE NOT) - pleeeaase tell me youve noticed valet buddy lol.
-
Go leather mate £850.00 for full custom leather retrim.
-
Yep got the bearings.
-
Meguirs quick clay is good- also bit safer than a trade bar. AG radiant wax and compound range are excellent too.
-
I'm sure that wouldnt be the case if you had to call them out monthly, where as everyone needs a car clean fortnightly, monthly 6 times a year etc. 100.00 a month for a standard valet and wax????
-
HERESITES - thanks mate-good job. - i just keep gawking at the pic now, will certainly help me make my mind up.

3 slat grille 1 - colour code in blue 2 -nice silver/chrome 3- silver/chrome inc. headlight surround? What are you all thinking? Or - shiney black!
-
I think thats cool, different and tidy. obviously lots of tlc put into it. Not my taste, but still like it.
-
I have some brand new VR ones in my garage. 1 month old. I have no idea if they are any good for you. I dont want alot for them, pm me if you interested.
-
I'm going to get my 3-slat grille painted, now what are your opinions on the options? 1 - colour coded blue 2 - nice silver/chrome 3 - silver/chrome inc the head light surrounds? ...my favourite idea, but very hesitant lol. To visualise, heres my car. http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic. ... highlight=

Why thankyou very much, shame most of the customers dont show this much gratitude - theyre too rich and lazy to bother LOL...which is also the ideal customers...cant have it all i suppose LOL.
