  1. Thats great info, thanks Hasan
  2. Do you mean he's looking to sell the business?
  3. which is that 5 stud wheel? Looks like a smarter version of the speedlines, plus it is concave which i prefer.
  4. Some great info there. Confirms my(and others' ) thoughts of resistors stepping down the speeds inside the motor. If you dont mind would you be able to measure the resistance of each of the resistors there? I'm thinking of making another loom with the same resistances to mimic the operation with slimline fans. My current setup means i have speed 1 = 1 fan, speed two = 2 fans slow speed from fan control module, speed three = 2 fans high speed from fan control module Your skills are more than sufficient to rebuild it to a better standard than it was originally! oh ok. He obviously likes his sebrings as i cant imagine that being very easy or cheap to do. That said, they must rank as one of the nicest 17inch rims, albeit on a Rallye. Would be good to see them on a Corrado Edit: just done a search and they seem to be 18"

Those look incredible! How would you get them banded?
  7. These pics seem to have disappeared. Any chance you could post up again please? My shifter surround has the same issue! Hasan
  8. Hi Philly, that would be great. Would you mind sending me some pics of the components first? We can then see which ones we would likely be able to make and then take it from there Hasan
  9. Would be worse if your name wasn't even Richard!
  10. Yes perfect. Any broken parts which we can machine from steel. Typically the retracting arms on each side. As long as all the broken parts are there it'll be fine. The only issue i see is if there are any fitted plastic parts which may be in various states of wear. I imagine it will be a longish route to getting everything made up so please bear with me. I think I'd look to machine all components so there are no weak links. That said, if anyone has a 3d scan of any components already (pls advise on the software used) we could also use that too.
  11. anyone got a broken sunroof cassette which can be stripped down for parts for remanufacture? I was told recently of a few that had just been discarded - I was 1 week too late, they had just gone to the scrapper 😞
  12. Hi Bruno, would you mind posting some pics and dimensions of the kit at all? Its something we could look to fabricate here. Thanks Hasan
  13. You're an accomplished Corrado mechanic Cressa, its not that hard just time consuming
  14. I believe obd2 is more adaptive to engine mods than obd1,so convert it and you won't need a remap!

Just wondering if its worth getting some adapters to fit 4 stud wheels...
  16. Is it possible to carefully open it and repair it?
  17. great stuff Philly! I've forgotten a lot of what i did on mine - its good to look back at that guide.
  18. i think the civic one helps with reducing wind noise too, as there's less air turbulence and it does make it look a lot cleaner than the original vw trims.
  19. thanks Dox, makes sense.
  20. Thats a good link, thanks for sharing. Is it necessary to remove all the plugs or can they be removed one at a time?
