How much is the eip kit? do you not have to lower the compression of the engine to get that sort of power?! Sounds impressive - not that I am going to do that mind, I prefer the instant throttle response over mega power :-D -

leathered up too? -
just got back from doing 200 miles cross country today in the missus's MX-5 10th Anneversary. Only 2 downsides. 1. they are a little gutless in the midrange if you are used to something with a bit of grunt, but you jsut have to alter your driving style (ie. rev it more) 2. I think I have sun stroke  Brilliant cars, comfortable, fast, and handle briliantly, and very cool too. oh I thought of one more downside - not too hot in the snow! But dont let these things detract from it, they are incrdible handling cars.

It would be interesting to know just what wxactly the difference is. I know I have my car lower than I would really want to run it, and the camber is fine (especially for a non daily driver) Although I said in the PM I will be very interested to see what you are having made up ;)
-
Hes got his car on its knees at the back - look how far up into the arches the wheels are tucking! it couldnt really be dropped any lower, now if you compare the rear picture of yours dropped to the floor you will see a massive difference! and considering my car is primarily for go not show, I will never be running it that low. Infact, I will more than likely be running my car at the same height as the phats got his front at the moment. :D

Just trying to be optimistic :D

How about you attach 4 radiator valves somewhere on the engine to make up the numbers  -

I am still looking for the downside in that statement :D -
are you sure the damage is that bad? extensive subframe damage is still only minor and easily repairable - can you still openthe passenger door?
-
good luck in your search
-
depends what you mean by very good - they have had the usual flappy bit trimmed off
-
think again, the cam will still be in the engine pushing some of the valves down, only way all the valves will return into their seats at the same time would be if no cam was in the head,, ah fair enough - I knew someting wasnt right with my post :)
-

WOW - I have had a stirring in my pants seeing that there has made me think about painting my car black that is lush excuse me for one moment.... -
mate has aquired it I am afraid.
-
thinking about it as soon as the cambelt snaps the tension will go from the valves and the springs will withdraw them to their fully closed position?
-
It certainly has character  and aits now splattered to bits with under seal/stone guard etc. Ben, I am keeping it yellow, original colour, no special mixes. I dont think VR6Banana could take it if I painted his old car blue lol I was speaking with the painter and he agrees it should stay the original or as close to the original colour as possible. Its the car identity, its like a D list celebrity in certain corners of the country! Should be going to Edition 38 - when is it?
-
no its pretty well munched. would take lots and lots of body work to repair.
-
drilled a hole in the inner rear arch for the syncro tank breather. Actually I did this a fortnight ago but its all I have to offer at the moment
-
mine moving along slower than an axtra slow witted sloth, thats just mistakenly eaten a full ganja plant... I have just bought a scrapper corrado to rob all the sundry bits off that I need to complete the job. Might get a bit done over the weekend - I really havent got a great deal to do to complete. Painting the biggest job I am going to have - do I have it painted straigt away or leave it a bit, probablies best to paint while the interior is out.
-
we will let off then, although its only 'proper' OEM+ when the bumper has a valid function :D Why dont you build your own intercooler setup?
-
will do what I plan to do is get the front recaros retrimmed to match the rest of the leather interior.
-
lc5u is the code I think probablies is aqua pearl - didnt take that much notice to be honest - irrelevant to me as my car is yellow! interior is not for sale I am afraid - like I said this was not aquired for profiteering! Although I may be being a little greedy as I have a set of coth electric recaros too :D
