  1. you think there will be a charging point at every parking space on every road? or we'll all be expected to queue for one at the end of the road? or go to an electric petrol station and wait for a couple of hours? im not buying it, electric in its current form is not the future..
  2. Well the advert has now gone live :( HERE Pics of the VR6 will be up shortly! Finishing the matrix mon/tues and fitting a new exhaust then they'll be up!
  3. G60 | Flash Red | Bristol Price: £3950 Description: For Sale 1991 VW Corrado G60 – BBM Charger & 2.0 Engine Quick rundown: The car has had extensive work completed with receipts totalling over £6000 for engine work alone. It also has AVO Coilovers, 17” BBS RX wheels and full black leather interior. I took the car as a part exchange for an R32 engined Corrado I owned earlier in the year. Although it’s an awesome car to drive and I’d love to keep hold of it, the spec is far beyond my current needs so it has to go to a new owner. TAX: 02/13 MOT: 02/13 Full Spec: Engine: 2000cc VW long block new as of late 2002 from TSR Motorsport. 8v pack'C' big valve gas flowed cylinder head new as of late 2002 from TSR Motorsport. 148.5k genuine car miles. Engine changed at 123776 car miles. Piper 285 cam and vernier pulley. Bahn Brenner twin screw compressor. Bahn Brenner silencer kit. Bahn Brenner rigid intercooler piping. Custom front mounted oil cooler. Grey injectors. Jabba sport induction kit. TSR stainless steel 4-1 sports exhaust manifold. Powerflow full exhaust system and custom back box. Japspeed decat. AVO Coilovers Exterior: Late exterior, bonnet, wings etc 17x7.5 BBS RX alloy wheels, 205/40/17 Tyres Interior: Full black leather VDO twin gauge pod: Boost/Battery G60 Leather 3 spoke steering wheel Ice: Sony Xplod full sound system with 750W amp and twin subwoofers boxed in the boot. Subs are enclosed in a custom sub box against the back seats. I’ve only had the car a short time, but have replaced the bonnet cable, fitted a flexi joint to the exhaust system, added the BBS wheels and changed a few things back to standard styling wise. The only thing that lets the car down slightly is the paint. There is no rust on the car, but there is the odd dent as expected from a car of the age and a couple of places where over polishing has led to thin paint. Price wise, I am asking £3950, but willing to negotiate a cash offer or part exchange. Ideally this would be for a sensible daily driver, however I could justify something fun if it comes with enough cash on top! I am based in Bristol for viewing/test driving. Please contact me if you would like to know more or would like more photos. Many thanks, Baz
  4. I've searched a million threads and cant find a definitive answer to my question! What is the actual difference in mm between a 4 and 5 stud set up? I ran 7" ET15 & 9" ET25 wheels on my old 4 stud narrowtrack set up with no scrubbing. If I wanted to replicate this on a 5 stud widetrack VR6 what would I need to go for? Hopefully I've added enough keywords to this thread that it will come up as a definate answer to others in the future! Cheers! Baz
  5. I've had 8 corrado so far, and still have plans to buy a couple more. DONT ASK ME!!!
  6. i live in a terraced house with no driveway or garage. how will i ever buy an electric car which needs power i cant supply?
  7. defo longer than a week. probably 28 days, or hand it in to the police and then claim it back once its not been claimed for? a mate went home one day to find a wii with games and wii fit board on his front wall, days after it was first released. noone ever got in touch.. weird!
  8. great price, someone get it bought. ive looked at this advert and one for a schrick far too many times the past couple of days
  9. i've taken the heater exchange box out of my VR to fit a new heater matrix, all going well so far. however, anything foam i touch is crumbling in my hands! is it possible to buy a kit from the dealers with all the foam pieces needed or would these now be obsolite as they're perishable? in which case what do people do about replacing the foam? buy from elsewhere? i dont really want to put it back together as it is and cant see sourcing a second hand replacement would be any better. also, my flaps need lubricating. :norty: whats the best thing to use for this?
  10. cool cheers bud, will update you friday, it looks like i only need the small pipe that comes off of it..
  11. You can still get this one HERE from VW, for about £10-12.
  12. shame its not VWC 24V that would be a cracker! didnt know they were doing timed auctions now, will have to have a search through..
  13. great work, look forward to seeing the car IRL sometime soon! cant remember from sunday what you said youre doing with yours, are you keeping both?
  14. Cheers for the comments guys. Yes, it's getting a bit silly now, especially when i buy about 5 sets of wheels per car too  My wife is rediculously understanding. My dining room currently has 5 sets of alloys, 2 sets of tyres and various boxes of 'car stuff' taking over :nono: I'll do [another] build thread for the VR6 soon including photos. I put it through for MOT today and it passed, with just advisories on two front tyres. It's now taxed and I took it straight over to my friends garage to start stripping out the broken heater matrix. Everythings out, so will collect a new one before work tomorrow and fit it Friday. Andy, idle now seems much better, I think it needed a clearout! I'm going to refit the standard airbox too as it has a dodgy cone filter. It's dying for a new exhaust too, the 12" halfords jobbie is not doing it any favours! In general though, i'm really impressed.. The paints tidy, interior immaculate and underneath is completely rust free. I'm currently a very happy, but very tired boy!
  15. Yes, vr intake elbow, that's the chap! Do you have one?
  16. Well here she is looking lovely at Sundays meet.. Things took a bit of an unexpected turn on saturday with a bit of late night bidding. My initial plan of selling the R32 and buying a VR6 daily is kind of back on again. I've just got back from collecting a VR6 from Reading, leaving the G60 already surplus to requirements! :bonk: I think i've done a decent job of tidying it up a bit for a new owner, however I can't justify taking it further with paint etc now i've taken on the VR6. My biggest question mark is over how to price it! Based on the for sale ad HERE from when clumpy1 bought it and then money i've spent improving it I should be asking about 5k  but being that it really does need the front end blowing over thats not realistic. I'm gonna get some more photos together over the next week and then look at advertising soon after. I hope number 8 is going to be the last one, i can't take much more excitment!
  17. As title, Looking for a full system or possibly backbox only for a VR6, standard or near standard style. I also need an air intake pipe. Im sure i'll need more by tomorrow evening, its MOT day tomorrow! Cheers Baz
  18. its not going to be worth much more than scrap as it is if it needs proper chassis work rather than panels :(
  19. the fives just arrived, spend all morning doing various backups on the 4s to make sure everything transfers over okay as i hadn't done my ios6 upgrade yet. its all doing what its doing at the moment, should be ready by next week!
