  1. They wont fit if they weren't standard, sorry. if you'd like to give them to me instead i don't mind. Or use the search.. this comes up quite often, here's the most recent thread.. http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?57847-
  2. That's one option! The weirdness is I'm making a responsible decision because I now want to. I have a very easy going and understanding wife and she's never once reminded me that it's time to grow up. I've been stalling on wanting kids but we're both into our 30's now and it's time for some changes. If I can get my job & house somewhere near how I'd like before that patter comes along, then even better! R32 ownership is very easy if everything has been done right. Your main expense will be fuel, I'm not going to lie you'd have to have deep pockets to run one daily. Bizarrely, I've owned 6 Corrados and not one has been a VR6! I'm saving that for number 7
  3. There was a vag meet at 2, then a non bag meet at 4, then another one at cribbs at 7! I left about 4:30 so saw a couple of other cars before I went..
  4. It all depends what youre ultimatly aiming for. I wouldn't buy any with the sole intention of making profit. I also don't see prices going through the roof. Low end e30 only ever dropped to 8-10k so were never cheap and were rare. More comparable to escort cossies which went to about the same. A tidy mk1 or rallye isn't a bad idea, but prices are already too high to make a killing from. You then need to look for the next thing. There were too many mk2 siroccos around, I can't see them being megabucks ever. A corrado isn't a bad shout, but there's already too many examples rotting away. Now might be the time to find a good one, but it's already gonna cost ya. As I'm writing this I feel like an MP.. I'm talking lots without really saying anything? Hmm clever, or not.

A week old, but could still be about? Gumtree
  6. i was at a meet at showcase sunday around 3-4ish. not me though!
  7. Ah okay, I think I remember.. I was hesitant about drying it off as i thought I'd just make the rain start again, but luckily it held out after. The car is 100% going to have to go, as much as I'd love to be in a position to keep hold of it, the bigger picture means it's not going to happen. I've been so focused the last few years about wanting to own a 'complete' car that I've been letting other things slip. All of my luxuries are going up for sale so I can concentrate on house and family. The time and money involved isn't justifiable for me any more so it's time to take a step back. There's some pretty major [bad] stuff going on work wise at the moment too, which makes the decision even easier. Of course, none of this means I'll be giving it away or that I won't be improving it till the day it goes. It just means I'm confident I'm doing the right thing.
  8. i keep getting ones for buying a shed or getting rid of asbestos. i've already sorted both :bad-words:
  9. this is killing me. someone get it bought so i can stop thinking about it.
  10. Rodmax - good price and quickest delivery of anything ever!
  11. yep, there's billboard ad's around, i think its gonna be a whole series of attacks.
  12. If i can sort out money before it goes I 100% will. It's making me feel a bit sick that it's come up again so soon, I have to sell mine before I could go for this so will be sorting adverts etc shortly.
  13. this cant be happening to me!! I NEED THIS CAR!!
  14. I like that gocompare have acknowledged the annoyingness of thier adverts now. Recently I needed to use a comparison site and purposely avoided gocompare and the meerkat one as I hate the adverts. That's not good business. I don't tend to see many though, I series link stuff and watch it later.
  15. Ha! I'm now trying to work out who you were!? Was it you that saw the car at devil? I spoke to quite a few people throughout the day so sorry! I had the same thing going over to chat to the guys on the clubstand, "Hi I'm Baz! Err Bristolbaron.. Err corrado forum"
  16. America used a body on frame chassis much later than we did in Europe so a lot of there cars are/can be converted more easily than a monocoque. I can't see dropping a Corrado shell onto a TT frame being anywhere near the same job! There was a GTO done on Pimp my ride for tanner foust a while back, that may be the one youre thinking of.. this is all i could find on it.. http://www.355nation.net/forum/images-video/23250-rockstar-gto-muscle-car-power-magazine.html
  17. Good stuff.. I think the 2.8 is a great upgrade if you want to keep everything 'simple' but if you're going to the extent that you want to there's only really one way forward!
  18. Cheers bud, cant take much credit for most of the bay stuff though.. most was done before I bought. Oh, and Baz is short for Baron not Barry - long story! Thanks bud, I'm sure we'll catch up again soon.. I'll take you round the block, I need to convince you to R32 before you start putting all that work into yours! Cheers.. I was going to put a couple of layers of wax in the boot well but had so much to do i ran out of time! Selling, hmm.. yes I am supposed to be doing that :bonk:
  19. I spent a bit of time playing last week and over the weekend, nothing major just tidying bits and bobs and sorting stereo stuff. I kept forgetting to get an interior shot, remembered after parking in the garage Engine bay Engine bay Cleaning underneath boot floor. Genesis sub & amp, trimsport brace, ply boot floor. The dregs from a local meet on sunday.. The cause of slow progress!
  20. Peloquin diff and p zero Nero combo = no wheel spin in the dry. Torque steer if you floor it but 'hard' to spin. In the wet you have to be sensible, but it doesn't come out much when it is!
  21. well found! saw a few people taking snaps of mine during the day, but not posted anywhere!
  22. i have got a spare set but dont really want to sell them, however, i also have the four i removed this week and cant see anything wrong with them. i found out my rattle was due to something else, so chances are they're fine. if you're stuck and want to try them im happy to post.
  23. I dug these out the other day as someone was after a set. realised i'll probably never get round to making custom lights with the lenses as i planned! I bought them on here about a year ago, the have been used so i presume converted to rhd. I'd like £110 posted or £100 collected from Bristol Cheers Baz
