  1. And some lookalikes too! ahhhh but Glenn dear boy your leather was an optional extra  :-P
  2. some auto's are actually cool(and not gay)but they are normally in big TD 4x4's/Mercs etc i'm not on scottishvag.........not very keen on it tbh and ALL (genuine)Storms have leather as standard
  3. sounds like someone was winding you up,you can get an Auto VR but tbh they have the potential to be even bigger money-pits
  4. a Karmann Ghia is a VW coupe from the 60's/early 70's based on an air-cooled beetle........so dunno what you mean about a Karmann Ghia gearbox other than one from then, its only connection apart from badge with a Corrado is it was built by the same ppl as for running costs..............mpg wise for the size of engine they are decent, tho buy a bad one and parts/servicing can be scary
  5. G-werks....who sponsor this very forum section are the boys(or rather the boy)
  6. its the ..............wiper stalk
  7. no sorry wasn't meaning they had a factory-look connector, more that it would have been fitted up and working correctly from when first installed back in 2004 IIRC
  8. without looking under the bonnet of mine......IIRC yeah,I'm just refering to the back of the guage panel re your Q,tho if its Crazymarcel's old C it should be the right one????,unless both he and Dave drove about without the oil-pressure guage working???? or did they remove/sell on the guages???
  9. as in a "proper" multi-plug?............tbh no...........mine has been in my motor for 3 years and is just individual(spade IIRC) connectors
  10. I would have thought David would have known that old chestnut..............its common knowledge on here
  11. IIRC the Mazda 626 diesel or maybe the Xedos 6 diesel from the early-mid 90's had a supercharged diesel engine............didn't sell well tho,and it was piss poor performance compared to comparable TD's of the time
  12. the oil pressure sender is fitted to the top of the oil-filter housing so there is no need to rip the dash apart hunting for it
  13. is it possible that you have the wrong oil press sender??? the instructions I posted where from 3+ years ago,and Crazymarcel who sent the instructions to me never had any probs with his guages, like I mention earlier I had a VW tech fit them for me as a casher so I didn't know if he followed Crazymarcel's instructions of if he did it his own way
  14. I wouldn't have thought so Andy...........afterall when you replace the CPS you just plug it in and off you go,no other procedure etc
  15. just buy her this http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/Sales/127921.htm save putting another Corrado thru the torture of ugly bodykit afflictions
  16. I bought a 148k miler 94L reg VR in November last year and other than minor niggles it was as quiet and smooth running as my 78k Storm
  17. ALL 2.0 8v's/16v's and VR6's have 70L tanks and ABS as standard ABS is a rare option on 1.8 16v's/G60's(possibly wasn't offered on the 1.8 16v) and some G60's also have the 70L tank(these will be 92> ones)
  18. Sopranos,King of Queens and Scrubs are my faves
  19. just std VW sports seats trimmed in leather(in Grim's case Biege)..........Recaro's are the top of the tree tho
  20. sell it with the cloth grim
  21. I've been thinking of a boxster s lately and i've seen those lights :pukeright: :pukeright: yeah what gets me is..........are they saying that Lexus(aka posh Toyota) is more classier/upmarket than Porsche
  22. lexus lights on anything other than a lexus(even seen them on Porsche Boxsters  ),bodykits that look like they have escaped off the set of Aliens plus most of the other stuff mentioned
  23. why did they do that ? why didnt they use a 24v one ? just seems a bit odd they would only do it for a passat? cos Passat's have their engines fitted Longitudially(north/south) as opposed to transverse in the golf/bora's
  24. biscuit or burnt orange gets my vote
