whilst looking through some old car mags i found this 'automobile' magazine from jan 1993 my dad had brought back from the US. flicking through it found an article and ad for the corrado! was in there top ten cars of the year in 1993, but being Americans their choice was a bit questionable!.....the full list was (in no particular order) BMW 325i coupe Cadillac Seville Touring Sedan Ford Probe GT Lexus SC300 Mazda mx-5 Merc 400E Nissan Sentra SE-R Nissan 300zx Toyota Camry XLE VW Corrado VR6 SLC anyway thought it might be of interest so scanned the review and is attached, apologies for the poor quality! pete

kerrinmay past you today (admiring my mk2 golf! :lol: ) at bout 5pm in the usual pompey traffic near Gunwharf, was gonna wave but thought you might of think i was bit of a weirdo!!

dark blue j plate 16v on m27 at around 5.30pm 2day, was behind me in my mk2. could be the one andy saw...

h reg white g60 last saturday heading towards whiteley at junction 9 of m27. anyone?

Hi guys Due to a number of circumstances iv had to sell one of my cars, an purely for money reasons it had was the c that had to go...:-(...miss it already! hope to get another c in the future tho, but have to stick with the mk2 for now, there are some pics of it and the c in my gallery. good luck to forum member scoobyd00 with the purchase, he's got a engine conversion planned so looking forward to seeing the results of that! the car is being trailered up to him in Scotland today so some of you may spot it on your travels! cheers for all the help on the forum, as you can see i am not breaking any forum posting records but visited the forum most days (mainly to distract me from uni work :roll:) and found it very helpful. keep up the good work. pete

got the wheel bearing replaced today at my local garage and seems to have sorted the problem, drove around for 30 mins and no noise :-) fingers crossed thats sorted it! thanks again for the help. pete

ive got a strange whirring sound at offside rear of my other car, its a mk2 golf gti 8v. the noise starts after bout 10mins of drivin and increases with speed and only stops once you are stationary. had a search of the forum but not to sure what it might be... it had new rear discs and pads fitted only 3 weeks ago so could it be them? or the tyre? wheel bearing? any ideas? cheers guys, i know its my golf and not my c but thought id ask u guys. pete

u were right gavin, replacing both brake light bulbs fixed the side light coming on when braking prob and on further investigation one of the rear indictors had a wrong bulb in so despite working the car didnt like it. got that replaced and its all back to normal speed! thanks for your help, two more things crossed of the to do list!!!! :D pete

i got a problem when installing my head unit, when u turn the ignition off the stereo remains on, even when uv taken the keys out! any ideas? apologies if this has been asked before i did a search but couldnt find much. cheers guys pete
