I hate it when people say things like that, it makes me :mad2: Its all down to the installation and set up, had mine 5 years with no false alarms in the middle of the night, no dodgy mysterious unlocking of itself, nothing. Fitted right and it will be good for a long time. Somebody once said to me i hate fitting Cliffords as there is too many wires and they are too complicated to do, well i want it complicated with too many wires to make it harder for a thief to get round it all and this is probably the reason for many unhappy Clifford customers, the instaler just doesnt care enough to install it correctly, bang it in and ship it out, get the next 1 in. The place i use take a full day to install it and sometimes a little longer, just to make it right and trouble free, ever so slightly more expensive than other places but cheaper than GAP who charge a bomb.

Good buy and hope it makes the 300bhp. :D The ratios are stupidly short in that i think as far as i know its not the standard box on it, also you can just drop in the whole CTN gearbox.

All i can say regarding the DS2500 is they take a little heat on 305's to get really really good then as they get proper stinking hot with serious abuse they just get better and better with no fade.
-
I was just going to say if you like them then you need to try the Ferodo DS 2500's
-
All i can say is its 22-23mm socket sorry it doesnt help.

Mine is mounted vertically, as your looking from the front of the car its to the right of the left hand headlight next to the intercooler behind the grill. The water temp is the same on mine.
-
Sound as a pound thats going to be :D

Mine on 1900 with the turbo as well does the same in traffic, but with the mocal 13 row on when driving sits around 80 degrees. Maybe as its not properly mapped it may be running slightly lean and causing slightly higher temps. Remember its a tuned performance engine so expect higher temps.

Was gonna sell the 'Rado, but now maybe not....

Damn if it is so then as i have just reached 5 years now so i need to get it back on the road next year now. Where is the insurance dude to confirm any of this. -
Based on those engines i can see why you draw that conclusion tbh.

Just take it off the road like i have, its the best thing i have done and i love it, i now know nothing else will break and how many Rado owners can say that, i no longer live in the fear. -
Would you know Goldie on here then, im sure he is in the Navy and he is moving to Edinburgh too soon, also in Portsmouth alot.

I dont have any pics of it but Jabbasport have these in their racing corrado all stripped out. Looked good and were mounted right as i remember, sure the fixed rails you use are adjustable in the way you bolt the seat to it.

Click his links in his sig and spend quite a few hours reading it all.

RPM = Race Power Motorsport = Company name CNC = Method of machining to tune the head for power.
-
Probably nothing for 305th
-
Over 110 i think.

The thing with stretched tyres is they will grip and grip but suddenly let go without warning like an unstretched tyre will do as you are taking out the tyre wall flex it has, so zero feedback.
-
Yes thats what i mean though, just 1 as close as you can get, why would it be troublesome just having 1, your only monitoring the exhaust temp to watch out for potential lean out conditions.
-
I thought you would monitor the whole engine as a whole as in a lambda type sensor in the exhaust.
