Agreed Synta SIlver 10w40

I would only see the need to reface after faliure.(Im actually in the process of trying to obtain a tool to be able to do this in situ) We have also used the 1/4" dowel trick with sucess in the past also, I would recomend this if you are unsure about the condition of the crank.
-
please make sure you reface the end of the crank before refitting otherwise this could happen again im afraid!
-
6pk1640 is what you need for this application, If you cant find a local one i can mail order one to you.
-
68mm pulley you NEED a 1640.. Std is a 1660 so i would run a 1650 on your 72mm Pulley
-
i will have one...One day
-
Even the 16vG60s came with greens from the factory. Greens yes but not the same flow rate as stock corrado ones. I have the part numbers for the limiteds and they differ.
-
All rallyes came with green injectors... The ONLY g60 to come with grey injectors were golf gti g60's with factory aircon. I hope this clears it up. Are they a worthwile mod.. Yes aslong as they have been flow tested and you run a suitable chip with them. Over 220bhp they are mandentary.

Im sure i remember you saying once that germans cant build suspension for english roads. Im glad you got them on at last!
-
Highly recomended and as Kev says when you open the box read the instructions and all will become clear!
-
dont bother with the delock you will need to fit a solinoid which will mean drilling etc (i know you dont like that word)
-
Dan colour code a fresh rear numberplate panel.. Brings the back of the car bang up to date
-
The reason it wont help is because this is the only forum that allows naming and shaming so although i agree you would perhaps want others to know the posts will just be taken down (Hence it being no help)
-
Struan, I feel for you in whats happened but it honestly isnt going to help you cross posting on other forums. you have the perfect place here to express your misfortune and i suspect you also bought the wheels from this forum. This is also the only forum that has a bad sellers section which is why i felt it would be best to keep it here.

760mm I would be odd for the VR to have the smaller one if alls OEM under there.
-
What did you really expect mate.. why cross forums with this problem just go down and see Sam if need be!

As yan says its only the top plate that changes. the top mount stays the same. We use the mk3 mounts on everything from mk2 chassis onwards
-
drill the heads off is there that damaged. Remove the pulleys then use a pair of nippex pliers to turn the left over bolts out. It sould only take 30mins or so to sort out.

RW masters in littlehampton, But there busy

Not allways im afraid. there is a huge differance between Airspeed vs Airflow. We cut and shut an inlet very much like yours in the early days and actually lost power (noticably when driven too) We then ran mk1 golf Inlets and made 6-10 lbs of torque more at a set point. The injector thing is total BOLLOX due to the injectors being batch fired, dont believe everything you read on the internet.

WIth a ground lip and 3mm off the disks we runs a 9.25" rear dropped -80mm with no rubbing :D
-
Agreed.. also check there is not a torque head in the centre of the bolt too.. It looks tight but a short 1/4" 10mm socket and a extension bar allways works fine.
-
You can borrow my battery Impact gun if you get stuck mate.. I allways use this in times of need.

the golf g60 design is buy far the best for the corrado' it fits like factory...
