Absolutely no problems at all. It was a pleasure to have your car in for the day, im pleased you are happy with the results and you know there is only more to come very soon… As far as scaring you in your own car goes I can only apologise for that... lucky the wipers were so bad or else we could have really tested some of the potential of your car on our test road...
-
his also come complete with custom kurb designed edges....."the bo need to learn how to park"

u dont buy any sealing strips u seal the rims yourself once rebuilt before the torquing process. image wheels can help you with the new rims you are after,
-
well if there 3 piece u can do it easy buy changine the inner rims...

we fitted a golf g60 intercooler set up into jmc's car we pruchased this as a complete second hand unit...
-
no chance of fitting then un fortunatly as the adapters need to be 15-20mm at a minuim this would make the front wheels et-4-9mm and the rears et4mm i think they might stick out a touch...

timing can be set with blue cts sender off and rpm anywhere between 2K-2500k , so mondy sounds like your timing is fine to me if you have set it at 2k.

Hello there, your supercharger is fed by engine oil "braided hose from the side of the head" which is why its important to keep god clean engine oil in your g60 and use a good oem oil filter and i would also never Recommend using engine flush either.
-
haha i think he is taking the piss mate. it controlled via the ecu on the g60
-
maybee someone breaking a g60 raddo of otherwise its going to have to be the dealers...
-
yeah take it back john and exchange it for the right one. just ask for one for a corrado with pg engine code
-
OUCH!! I thought costs would only be around 3 grand! If they are spending that sort of cash, I may have a rethink about the whole idea!! adam have a chat with 'rado on here he knows the answers u need.

This information has now been collated in a Wiki article, so this thread has been locked and un-stickied. ============= A number of people have asked me how we check for boost leaks so i have written this to hopfully explain how we do it. any questions please ask . Boost checking: Remove throttle body linkage on the underside of throttle body (to remove this use a large flat bladed screwdriver and prise of the plastic ball joint on the boost return linkage carefully). Start engine and allow to idle. Mix up a thick concentrate of washing up liquid/water or use a leak dector spray. In 2 second bursts, manually close the boost return flap by closing the linkage via the end you have just removed. Whilst closing the boost return flap you will see that the system pressurises. Use you choice of leak detector around all joints in the pipework etc & check for bubbling. Note: IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU HOLD THE SYSTEM CLOSED FOR NO LONGER THAN 2 SECONDS. Also to check the joints around the standard corrado intercooler you will need 2 people ie yourself controlling the boost return linkage and another pair of eyes checking for leaks.

As today im picking up a vr6 for my wife, it will be getting a -30mm suspension drop using the koni/eibach set up , and a set of 18" audi s8 rims. I cant belive i would ever buy a vr but i guess i had to have one someday, and they dont do a sharan in a g60 anyway...
-
no not quite tommorow i will pm you with details on how to check for boost leaks by pressurising the system make any leaks far more aparant.
-
you map sensor will be bleeding off at 1 bar anyway. are you running standard cam ? also worth checking is all the plastic pipework including the outlet on the charger if you havent got a rsr kit as these are prone to weeping a little once removed espically if split on the 4 10m bolts for removal.

have you checked the timing ?
