Boost return deletion kit, fitment guide
CorradoVR6-Turbo replied to yellowg60's topic in Engine Bay
I had mentioned this a while back but nobody seems to understand the full purpose of the idle valve and will happily sacrifice the possible failure of the engine for more power. I have never fitted the re-route kit. -

The re-route will leak it back into the intake, but it mainly bleeds boost on full open throttle and you have no idea that it does that. You will have positive pressure(on boost) either side of the idle valve when using the reroute kit. -
Boost return deletion kit, fitment guide

It will go back into the engine but cant vent boost when it pinks and retards the ignition plus bleeds air into atmosphere,by routing back into intake you have eliminated the purpose of the idle valve when the engine needs to bleed boost that's why you get 2-3 psi more. -
Oh dear...whats happened?

Had both mounts, replaced shagged Vibra after a year and bit and have had VF for longer with no problems.Go for a VF front mount,Vibra technics dont last and are no were near as good as VF.

You still enter your own brake results on the VOSA P.C,so its still up to the tester to decide if its a pass or fail. Its the piston of the compensator that seizes most of the time and not the lever so spraying WD40 and wiggling the lever makes no difference most of the time. For 15% i would have passed and advised.

I don't have air con and the only thing i removed was bumper and removed the front engine cradle and lowered the engine down to gain access to the OEM heat exchanger. I'm very picky on where and how i mount things,it looks just right where it is.Very OEM !

Four bolts in the chassis ether side remove them from underneath and bumper will slide out. You might have to scrape off underseal to revile the bolt heads.
