    It might sit the motor high at front Chris,best off getting a proper one and be done with it.

    Thats not a VR crossmember mate. All VR's have a cup for the mount to sit in. Thats a valver/G60 ect crossmember.

    Later ECU and management off Golfs ect,supposed to run smoother and has no Idle valve as they use a step-a-motor on throttle.Better Mapping values if you are going down forced air road,but Not much point as OBD1 does the same job. 2.8 golf Highlines run near 190 BHP just by using OBD2 but on 2.9 don't think the power is any different.

    Agreed,You need Windows 95 to run the programme and if you can find someone with the programme that helps to :lol:

    Yea that's right as you wont be able to adjust fuelling or ignition,K-Stars worked best for that but are hard to find now.

    Great cars and with a better build quality than the Corrado thats for sure ! Its got a better looking ass than the raddo to....i sooo miss mine :(

    Mate of mine ,had a very similar problem and we tried all sorts,pump,metering head,dizzy,ecu ect and it ended up being the lambda sensor!

    What is the point of plumbing the ISV back into the intake as its supposed to control overboost and vent it,Venting it to intake will have Positive pressure ether side of the ISV and it cant regulate overboost?

    Never thought about this,will that lube be ok? Jabba said use mist from breather and mentioned nothing about spray? G60's are new to me :wink: What is Lube plus,teflon or something?

    I just fitted a G60 to my mates golf and were going to do the same,but i routed the brether via a catch tank back to charger as the oil mist is needed to lube the apex seals or it will half the charger life.

    The OE thread would be to long,get some heat onto it,megga tight in vice and 10ft bar to crack it loose....post it to me i will get it loose for you :-P

    There is a pipe for the power steering that runs around the front of the crossmember its supposed to be a cooler for PAS. Take off your front bumper,its the easiest way to check if the pipe is corroded away or hose clips are loose

    Grip the tube in the vice,then use a socket to unscrew the cap,it will be tight but it will come
