Check the condition of your plugs,if they are worn they can cause arcing, but saying that its unlikely all six are doing the same and it would be more likely leads or dampness.

I've had a Scooby and it would wipe the floor with any Corrado ,4wd or not.It will outpace the corrado on corners, take off and with little effort...class car.But ugly as sin :robot: You can be doing 100mph(private back roads) in the Scooby and look at the scenery !! Do that in the C...!! both hand on the wheel and the veins popping out your head ...its fun

Its LTA (Langley tyre and auto)Mike, the replacement blades are thinner at the top were they slide in but it doesn't matter at all,as for juddering cured mine. The inserts you got may be old,as this is not a common thing to be asked for they could have been sitting on the shelf to long?

Steering rack issues solutions and swaps....

I'm posting this here because I think its rack related, everytime I turn left lock from standing and once straightening up I get a tyre rubbing on wheel arch noise....but the weird thing is it only does it when you start up and set off and at no other time does the noise come back!? I've had it on the ramp and done full lock to lock tests (the noise doesn't come back on when the car is stationary),checked and double checked everything no tyres are catching ect. Still haven't a clue about what the hell it is and thought it might be rack related... Come on throw some ideas my way  -

Have you tried taking the lower pinch bolt out and pulling down on the arm? or remove the three bolts on the arm that hold the lower ball joint in place and slide it out that way?

Lol..yes ive got a odd head  We had to trim Chris's head as well when that was fitted and that was a few year back ! :? I noticed the pulley was sitting offset, towards the head and the wider belt if fitted would not run true! There is allot of stuff in the kit not thought out properly  Paul, when you fitted your charger did you notice a light rattle/chatter from the charger when you were running it in? I've put 60 miles on it and the chatter is becoming less frequent, its nothing catching on the body, just wondered if the gearbox of the charger does this? -

Cheers Peeps, finished it off today tiding things up and making it bling 8) Spilt fuel on my newly painted rocker covers and stained them ...bugger. Was not to impressed with the fitting of the charger, had to trim the side of the head to allow clearance for bracket to mount charger to fit, space out idler pulley like Kev did to line up properly :x But it should be worth it in the end, going to run it like Miss Daisy for 500 miles under 3000 RPM In the mean time im getting smaller pulley, uprated fuel pump and make up a Charge cooler kit...after all that then I will get it down to Vince for the mapping. Love the whistle/metallic noise they make  -

Major Air leak....crimp the the rubber hose at the inlet manifold whilst its running to see if it improves. Your air meter flap wont work correcty due to the vacum loss. -
Best of dub to ya.. :-P Keep us posted if you can get discounts
