  1. They are used to cars with no more than 250hp so this was a little more powerfull than they are used to  Still would be nice to see what power its got but it also sound good ta brag "it was to powerfull for the RR " :norty:
  2. Superchargers will always be cooler than Turbos but my inlet temp just after throttle body on a hot day can rang from 35-40 on the moove/flat out. Nice cool day flat out its no more than 30deg 8) and the air temp out the turbo side can range once flat out 120-150 deg! only way you will know is to fit a inlet temp sensor and gauge bud.
  3. Well ive got a total of 0 Bhp! :( as we could not get grip once the turbo spooled up....tried to strap it down as best as and to sit on the front but still no joy :epicfail: The tyres were starting to blister and the inlet temps were 59 deg  the humidity was so high in the dyno shop everything was so dame hot! oh well, best find another rolling road.......
  4. hmm not sure on the wheels  and are you keeping the paint colour red?
  5. Dont think i will get the 400hp mark...i can turn the boost upto 20-22psi but its mental on the road and i wont go that high untill ive built my new box with diff and then i will have it RR again to see how much bhp its got. It a local classic car/morgan dealer i did my apprenatship with years ago.... Mac Donald Racing. Its also costing my a pint! Its a very hot day today, intet temps are around 39deg flat out,ex outlet air temp 180deg flat out ,engine oil around 102 around town and 96 flat out! ,ambient air 34 deg! :brickwall: not good for a RR !
  6. all these numbers! cant wait to find out...it was running 14psi for some time, but you get used to the power...so i turned it up to 17psi and it has more to come! :norty: Yes its Beru Pete...forgot the spelling! still it was £117.30 !! and the bosch Lambda at 60 quid!!! and ive bought a Peloquin diff tonight !!!!! god im spent up! :( Its still a T70 with a 1.06 hot side...not ideal but it works. Tommorow will be interesting :norty:
  7. Putting my raddo on the rollers for the first time tommorow as i want to know what sort of bhp its got. But the car started to play up...typical,one new Bura Coilpack and Bosch lambda and shes all good to go. So come on.....Any guesses on what the power will be running 17psi? :norty: I Think its going to be around the 370-380 mark. anyone else?
  8. oh dear, you will need to get an oil pressure gauge plumbed into the oil system, fisrt the head then block,if the pressure is low then as in one of the above posts get the oil strainer checked for blockage. Then if thats ok its possible oil pump and if that fine.....something like bearings are goosed...but your engine would sound like a tank! so i suspect not.
  9. but i would always say do the easy bits first, switches go bad so replace them before jumping in the deep end.
  10. no the 02a suffer from it also, best off with a fresh box bud...how many miles that one done>?
  11. yes replace this switch first or make sure the wiring to it is ok.
  12. hmmm....thats not good then and it is common that the diff rivets come undone in the box and most fit bolts in favour....but that's generally track cars. best start looking for a replacment, are all the flange bolts tight ?
  13. what are the bushes, joints etc like?
  14. there are two sensors, one low and one high pressure, the one on the head will be at fault more than an oil pressure issue, the one in the head works after 2k.
  15. have you got that in gear and moving the wheel side to side? The diff would normaly make that noise if done like this.
  16. making good progress bud,not sure on engine colour? cream with red?
  17. the oil drains on the side of the head differ....but the head is just the same and both work the same.
  18. yes happy birth day Karl  nice seats! 8)
  19. Romax wont do two pice wheels, plus I'm thinking of going for polished outers which they wont do also! You got SEM's number mate???[/quote:3jj461n0] Not sure what they can do with splits but worth a ring 0191 5480617
