  1. how about SEM in sunderland, always been good for me. Heard Romax are good and cheap too! :D
  2. No its just a stock O2M set up...feels very short as stock :)
  3. If you want slicker gearchanges then just go for the tower and shifter box,ive been told this makes a huge differance, but i know what u mean my misses leon has silky smooth box :luvlove: As for boxes any 6 speed fwd like a TT or golf anniversary. dont know if you seen this bud... http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=2633108 still plenty of work.
  4. Its the O2M among others, bot the O2A will do the job,but the O2M's are known to be strong but it gets put to the test with launching 4wd all the time.
  5. No need for that as you can get FWD o2m boxes for the 4 cylinders, that just applies to myself as all 02M Vr configuration boxes are Awd.
  6. ah right soz, just as ther was mention of transfer boxes.
  7. sure ,just thinking that 4wd would be a wasted on track,it would be more grip off the line but in nice flat corners a diff would work just as well? plus its allot less weight?
  8. Thats the new UK site so prices are still to be added but i was told its around 100 quid. In the MK2 the VR sits to high and has clearance issues with bonnet but the corrado has lots of room so i dont think i would need to modd anything if you were going VR that is. You still going track car ?
  9. As far as ive seen the subframe does not need to be modded, its only tight once there is a turbo,3" pipe and transfer box.
  10. http://www.c2motorsports.co.uk/prod_02m ... _mount.asp but it also requires the rear mount shortend.
  11. the dutchdub is related to the rear diff, but you will still need to modify the gearbox mount, either with welding the original O2M mount to chassis leg or get the bracket made to fit the O2M to origianl subframe but C2 do these off the shelf.

    Fuel Tank

The early valver had twin pumps, but i cant remember if the leter valvers did or not,im sure the G60's are single like the VR's.

    Fuel Tank

the early valvers had a smaller fuel sender and the later VR6's etc had a wider fuel sender
  14. The mechanic i work with at work has just bought one of them the GSR motor.....grip is unreal! cracking motor bar it being a bit jap
  15. nice colour choice! leather looks mint! 8)
  16. we use febi amongst other parts suppliers at work, from electrical to mechanical parts they all do the same job and we hardly ever get any parts go faulty.Only when it comes to brakes i can only recommened OEM parts. Its piece of mind Hasan what you want to fit but imop they do the job just the same. :)
  17. they do bugger all where they are and once pressurized dont shift any water hence why the R32 and so on have them mounted low down on the block so gravity can assist. They are common to fail, the metal bush on the impella fails and it grates its self on the side wall of the pumps housing, also causing exsessive vibration which you can see and hear....also all that metal particals go around the coolant system :pale:
  18. :gag: i like the guy slagging them off
  19. What colour was the smoke rings? white or with a blue haze? I would fit new guides while the head is off, they will be worn with that sort of milage and will be prone to allowing oil to be drawn past them on overrun. Dont know on cost but probably an extra £50 quid to replace guides and then add the gudies on top of that x12. Once you lifted the head off,the remaining water around the head and block would have got in there, nothing to worry about just make sure its clean once the head is refitted. This is the breather pipe from the head to the inlet, these are common to split but also if your engine is brething heavy it can draw oil into the intake and burn off...how oily was your intake? The top rear pad is also common on that sort of miles, replace the upper tensioner and pad with the later mk4 24v engine as its much more durable. While your in there i would replace the lower chain tensioner, both chains and crank seal + look at the state of the clutch while your there.
  20. Ive got mine from Mac Tool van that comes about other than that look on the net?
  21. ive added you to my contacts list, add me and i will send the OBD2 wiring diagram
  22. yea that would be an easier way to check :brickwall:
  23. I had this happen on my old raddo when i gave it some and it started to run like a pig! one of the coil drivers in the ECU had jamed! The sticking open injector will also reduce the rail pressure. Not sure on the 300+ on No5 ? mabey more running will settle this down? But before you get an ecu swap over an injector to see if its an injector stuck open and not the ECU.
  24. I cant see it being hydrolics,as it would be random ones and not just the rear banks, have you done CR check yet ?
