  1. that's defo a timing issue for sure if the cat or any part of the exhaust is glowing.....have you done the CR check yet bud?
  2. as long as the flats in the rears of the cam line up,ive seen one front bank and rear bank out before and have wierd running problems..... See what the CR says, have you got the injector plugs on right? are they still in the plastic retainer?
  3. Do you have compression on those rear cylinders? Have you got the cam set up right? Have you got correct fuel pressure as lack of it can affect the rear banks due to the long inlet tracks.
  4. yea sorry but there are all gone and i will have to reload them all at some stage and that will take some time :( It will be good to see your thread about your motor Swiftkid...we need more fresh threads imop.
  5. I know mate  just that peeps with the G60's will say they have as much or more poke thean a VR etc as its been battled on here since the dawn of time. Good luck with finding a VR bud but i doubt you will find someone willing to part with there VR for a valver.....best off selling yours and finding a VR that you want. Most that have "upgraded" to the VR simply love it and will never look back.
  6. can of worms time again G60 VS VR6......Fight-Fight-Fight !!!
  7. yeah but with cooling, clutch and labour (im not fitting a turbo haha) surely 5K might be a bit out??[/quote:lqq78kf5] adding chains clutch ect + labour will be tight but get the right person to do the job and i recon you could.
  8. was that it? 3min worth  and they should have left the engine off :gag:
  9. looks like it will be a light weight 20v turbo power track car to me :luvlove:
  10. This should be a light car once all stripped out! do you recon you could get it under a ton?
  11. Depends on a lot of things though really mate like time, budget, power etc! A turbo is a lot more of an involved job than just slapping a charger on it, more custom work and a lot more money (if you do it properly, and with this sort of thing you neeeeed to do it properly, remember buy cheap buy twice!). The plus side being you can get more power, but again with more power the more upgrading of other parts you need to do. A charger on the other hand can be put on in a weekend! Still not cheap but much cheaper than turbo, still good power (more than enough power for every day road use at least!) and although will require a strong engine, won't need as much work as going turbo would need. ummm, im thinking of a budget of around 5K, but this includes everything, from the gasket to the chrager/turbo... maybe its a bit much, im sure 300bhp on a rotrex would be fine :confused4: hate being in two minds... think i should scrap the turbo thoughts, think your one comment has knocked me back onto my orginal path, thanks!![/quote:3uyvz214] You can build a VRT for under 5k easy...it depends waht sort of power you want to achive....upto 350 whp is an easy target with a stock motor using spacer plate, arp's,stock manifold,SPA or ATP cast manifold etc and then use C2 software, they do OBD1 eproms which you will need as yours is OBD1 plug and play fun. :norty:
  12. mine is rust free, but saying that it does not get drivin in salty winter times which i suspect would corrode any bare alloy.
  13. It was a St James's then we got mooved onto spillers down the tyne, was cool 60+ cars driving to spillrs  you need to have a look out next time bud as corrados are thin on the ground. :(

  18. pics always make it look good but infact the bonnet is fading, minor damage to nsr lower arch, laquer peel were the side strips have been pulled off and some minor dents stone chips ect....not much but the paint job is cheap so wont hurt the wallet that much
