No worries bud....anyway im finding it difficult to part with her...comon sence is kicking in as im doing more local meets and the response i get from people about the raddo is great and is re-lighting my fire for the old girl! :luvlove: Also found out my photo-bucket accout got hacked and deleted! along with all my pics ect...very miffed about this and am having to rebuild it!!!! :bad-words: Added a fuel swirl pot,i bought this one as i did not have time to get one made up...so thats one walbro 255 intank pump,one 044,one sure tank,-10 fuel rail,Speedflow piping and fittings all round (works out o be around £320 in fittings and hoses alone!) bit overkill? :cuckoo: :lol: Some pics of my local forum Dubnortheast,very good turn out...around 60+ cars! Overkill? :norty: Also removed all th braided hoses on my fuel rail...hated the stuff for a while now.

You are supposed to renew them everytime hence why i use ARP bolts,cheaper in the long run.

you need a 4 pin lambda,the bosh one has a plug on and the other is without so you will have to attatch your old plug to the new cheaper one.

there is no plug and play intercooler for the VR. Plus having the large bumper and lack of space behind all that you will struggle to fit an intercooler and not mod the bumper as you will only get less than half of it in the air flow.

Cheers bud :tongue:! but people are less willing to spend money at the mo and I suppose its doing no harm as is, so i may as well have some fun with it! :) So while the weather has been great me and my mates decided on a mini convoy to our local hamsterly forest in Durham making more noise than the other folks visiting wood like and crawling over some nasty speed bumps :mad2: Still it was a laugh! My mate who was passanger said " fu*k me this thing is quick!" while holding firmly onto the grab rail! tart!! :lol:

Cheers bud :) I thought i priced it to sell :lol: but i know its tough to sell a car at the mo especially something like this as its more likely an enthusiast that will end up buying it.

this could be debated as we and other mot stations dont have DB meter,so how will they know? when last have they seen or heard a Corrado!!!!!

yip it is a personal preference and this could be debated all day long and im sure if you use the search bar it will show you just how many times! I dont get why there are threads like this vr6 vs 16v vs G60 vs 1.8t vs etc.....its all down to what you want and not others imop. and VR Chians need doing once its been around the moon unlike the g-ladder :wink:

Well im suprised at the lack of interest for a fully rebuilt VR6 Turbo and the prices that other forum members are putting there cars up for sale totaly baffels me to the point im defo not rushing to sell so will update this thread as normal. Going to speak to one on the lads at the body shop to get the raddo painted,full shoot....fresh red,black top,black RC's 8) Maby this will light a fire up my arse and see how it goes from there. out the box a standard VR6 is quicker than a standard G60 and at some point sooner than later the charger on the g60 will blow up...bla bla la..... :sleeping:

Thanks for the replys folks,ive wrote up the for sale add and you do forget how much you put into cars once you put write it down! Its not a hard or unwise choise as i want to have a go building a Tuned N/A 2.0 16v motor,knifed crank,high CR,throttle body's and hairy cams! :tongue: Some give me some idea whats is worth? or is it worth more in bits?

It was Mobile 1.. 10w-40 ! (that was one of the oils at some point) and it was more noticeable once hot but most of the time it was tapping away! The oil I use now is from our bulk oil in the tanks from work,im not sure what make it is as we have changed suppliers(again!) But i know its a semi synthetic 10-40 and i have had no problems with that,also the fact i change my oil every 500 miles! :D But i will find out the spec/grade of the oil once im back in work tommorow. Also my motor was rebuilt brand new up,new everything so i can rule out carbon deposits? :scratch:

so why does fully synthetic 10-40 make the VR tap away hot or cold unlike semi synthetic 10-40? im confused :?
