I've used it and found it to be very good as a daily use wax, it has not replaced my show wax. Here are a few pictures of the results:

Thanks, it was a great show alright, very good day. I forced myself to get around to doing the matrix, got away without taking the dash out :D Old, clearly knackered matrix: Not sure what this is?
-
Photographic evidence as requested  Very happy, my heating works now

I'm pretty sure that the wiring connection is for operating the windows via the key.

Its on the passenger side near the battery behind the headlight if I remember correctly. Dim Dip is a UK spec thing, so this only affects UK spec Corrado's
-
The dim dip system puts the dips on dimly on sidelight setting with the engine running or ignition on, the relay for the dipped beam in the uprated loom switches due to the dim dip signal and puts the full dip on.

I don't know, I really like the new Scirocco since I saw it in Wolfsburg earlier in the summer, here are some pictures I took then: The wheels make a huge difference, I was sorely tempted to order one, still am actually!

3 Hours, thats interesting. I've to do mine next week, so I'll try it without removing the dash and take photo's if I manage it. I did a mk2 Golf's matrix years ago without removing the dash, not sure if you are supposed to be able to do that though?

About time I updated this, I bought a meguiars G220 polisher recently as an upgrade to my old rotary one, and got carried away  Spent a day messing around like that much to the amusement of my neighbours. Next day I headed off to Cork for the weekend for a VW show down there thinking I was going great with a lovely clean Corrado to take down, but the Corrado decided not to play along with me, the damn heater matrix blew on the way down :censored: Made it down though, and I was reminded why I like the VW scene so much when a of the local lads who lived locally got all the bits together to bypass the matrix at the show  A picture or two of the day: Not looking forward to doing the matrix, but I better get on with it :( Two cars there that should be familiar to a few on here:

Stg £7k Not sure how that compares to what it was up for before. I would imagine the fact that everyone will always see it as Jays Corrado would put a lot of people off fairly quickly. I always loved it myself, but would never but it or a car like it for that very reason.

Its in Northern Ireland these days, those pictures were taken at the VAGE show in Cork just over two weeks ago. http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m142 ... C_0832.jpg http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m142 ... C_0860.jpg Campaigns old campaign was there too: http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m142 ... C_0875.jpg[/img] Jays Corrado is for sale again by the way, never seems to stay with one owner for long now

65amp is too high for bodywork to be honest, you want 30amp or lower, although I've gotten away with 40amp but its easy to blow holes at that setting, I wouldn't like to try it at 65amp :?

We run a new battery cable the length of our Limo's from the battery in the boot to the front, we use 50 square cable (50mm2), any electrical wholesaler should have it, 50 square panel wire is what they seem to normally call it.
-
Do you mean 2k? Anywho, I can get it, in Standox too, but you would want to be really stuck seeing as I'm in Ireland  I'm sure if you hunt around you will find it closer to home, I know of people over here that have had solvent based paint shipped from the uk, so it must be available somewhere.
-
I bought my first Corrado off them a few years ago, turned out to be a lot rougher than described, but maybe that was a one off.

Thanks for the comments 8) If I get it looking any where near as good as all the ones on here I'll be very happy :) I wasn't sure on the rear lights when I got it, but I love them now, they seem to go well with the aqua blue  The more I look at the new headlights the more I think I will leave them as they are to be honest, they are too clean looking to mess with. I've been working on the ABS as the light is on constant (was disconnected when I bought it) the peddle clicks a few seconds after switching the ignition on so the pump is working, so I decided to try cleaning the sensors and speed rings. The discs all round were replaced recently, can anyone guess whats missing from the back discs? I had spotted this when I went to clean them, seeing as I couldn't clean what wasn't there  So I ordered a pair from VW: Only one side done, 12 hour day in work today so I've not had time to do the other side, with a bit of luck I'll get the other side done tomorrow. I'll just have to wait and see if it puts the light out

Thanks, not as impressive as the work which you've done on the red one, if its any consolation I'd my eye on that one myself

My Corrado addiction is continuing, here is number 7 :help: I thought I was able to stay away after selling the last one, and actually managed about 3 months of non Corrado ownership, but when I saw praise b the LOweReD's advert I was hooked again  So here is as I bought it: And then I set about working on the various issues it had, painted both front and back bumpers, and had a paintless dent removal company remove the nasty dents in the passenger door and drivers side quarter panel. I also tinted the headlight reflectors, but I've replacement headlights bought on ebay that are in brilliant condition, not sure if I should tint them. I bought a set of BBS RC's off 4low and a colour coded standard grill 8) Oh and paid our government the

Today I trial fitted my RC's 8)

Today I: Repaired the smoothed front bumper on my new Corrado, fibreglassed the crack and gave the whole recess a coat of filler as it was slightly concave. Back bumper was cracked to feck, so I spent my evening prepping it for paint too. Should really start a thread on this one.

I've had 7 and none of them have had that function, so I would guess that its not standard. Its easy enough to install one, you need a 12v buzzer, connect its positive lead to the side light feed and connect the earth lead to the door pillar switch. Thats a simple setup, the downside is that the buzzer will go off if a passenger gets out while the lights are on too.
-
I've had 6 early Corrado's and all had two horns behind the grille, the late one I have now does not have them there, I'll have a look tomorrow and see if I can find out where they / it is / are.

PMSL, I know the feeling  Best of luck with the new one :)
