  1. put 30 in the front and 28 in the back - in the absence of a handbook (those garage air pressure meter's are so in accurate compared to gauges you take yourself!)
  2. lost me there im afraid,isv and all that has confused the hell outta me!
  3. had the jabba Stg4 with chip n'68mm pulley - suspect i will change the chip(to SNS) and get the fpr that they recommend and either a kn replacement filter or a cone with heat shield (saw these @ jabba and Dubcharged thinks these r the way to go next) suspect there is not much else i can do without internal engine mods - cam etc
  4. Banana - do you think a k&n,sns chip and fpr is going to make a big(ish) difference?
  5. dubcharged - what do you think of my next mods,what comes first chip and air filter? you seem to be associated to SNS - i emailed them at one stage but they did not even bother to reply! Is the FPR part of the SNS chip mod? Want the chip but not sure if i can fit it or where sns is based !
  6. redhill would be the one! They are prepared to give things a go that other places would I suspect consider too much hassle. They fitted my jetex and had to cut it in loads of places to make the thing fit! Dont know how jetex claim its ready to fit! Needed loads of adjustment to stop it hitting the rear beam on bumps etc! What mods you running? any suggestions for my perf. question on the board.......
  7. heard somewhere that the G-lader came in two diff. types - A 4 pot diffuser and another one,the 4 pot was stronger and can take smaller pulley's if the charger is in good condition.If its the other no. of pots then should stick to 68m pulley? Jabba list the type on the re-build paperwork (mines a 91 and a 4pot type) May be talking rubbish though!?

Got a stg4,chip n'68mpulley,jetex and cat replace pipe(air filter next),guessing this s/be good for 185ish bhp but cat believe it would post any where near vr6 0-60 times - is it the gearbox does anyone know?Are the ratios in the g60 not really ideal for early accelaration (0-60's). Drove a Subaru impreza std turbo last w/end and that felt loads quicker - rattled rather a lot though! Not sommit im used to having VW's Any ideas what i should be doing next in performance stakes? Thinking of a K&N panel filter,FPR boost valve(not heard much about these) and an SNS chip to stop the slight feeling of holding back on full throttle which im putting down to the jabba chip?
  9. just got mine done today,went to RSR tyres who used a 'powerflow' s/steel piece of pipe and cut the lamba sensor holder out the old cat and welded into the new s/steel pipe so that the lamba sensor screwed right on - bit nervous at first when i saw what they were doing but they have done a great job! Jetex for the rest of the system so its still very quiet with just a hint of throbb! Would not say ive noticed much power gain (already got Chip n'pulley and Stg 4) but it feels as if its smother pick up - less restricted i suppose - RSR charged me £94 which is cheaper than a supersprint replacement pipe etc......hoping the emmisions will be ok for MOT but im sure they can tweak to get through if they r high
  10. Anyone know the correct tyre pressures for a G60 with BBS and 195/50/15 tyres pls
