Just picked the car up from PSI and it's soooo much better now. Among other things (ABS etc) he'd replaced the temp sensor, sorted out the idle control valve???? Cleaned the throttle body and breather pipes and also the sparks. Wasn't bad before but very smooth now. One thing I'd like to know though, before it idled at around 750-800rpm, which I thought was normal. Now it sits (when up to temp) at 250-200 rpm and idles beautifully! Are most VR's this low? Ah, worth every penny! :)

Could people put their pics in their own folder as I'm not sure whos is whos. Theres 2 lots, some with DC*******.jpg and some with just lots of numbers, eg 13837020003.jpg. As some pics are of engine parts I'm not sure who's is which pic!

How much for taking the wheels off your's and putting them on mine! :) Just picking mine up from Andy at PSI this weekend so not many jobs need doing at the mo. Unless you can fit an ABS pump for less than £130 inc the part.

So 160 on the clocks prob nearer 150 on the satnav? Or did you have gps in there? Bloody quick either way! Should have told him to get out for that extra 5mph! :)

Try checking the rear engine/gearbox mount too.

Everybody shop I speak to says DO NOT use chips away. Several people have said to me that they've had to have chips away repairs repaired after a couple of months.
