Got it now thanks :) Andy

All, Thanks for all the advice. It was spot on and after a spot of wiring I was able to scan my VR6 :) I have made up a bracket with an OBD2 port in it and wired this straight up to the plugs so that I can use my normal Vagcom cable with it. Thanks again, Andy

Hi, I am looking for the 2 OBD plugs and as much wiring as you can leave on them for my 1994 VR6. Thanks to some of the forum members, I believe they go to a multi-connector behind the dash so if this could be included it would be great. Thanks, Andy

Ahh got you!! Thanks for the help - it is great here. Need to get a new obd connector and hopefully that will be me :)

Amazing thanks for the help!! Why would they have connectors rather than the OBD1 plugs? Thanks
-
Thats a good question!! God knows what there for or where they go.... Any suggestions would be great!! Heated seat loom? Air con loom???

Thats what I thought but I have the OBD1 connector and its 100% not those plugs. Will try popping the trim off and see if its been buried!

Hi, I was out having a look for my OBD port on my 1994 Corrado VR6 however, I cant seem to find it! Its not under the gear surround and the only cables are the ones shown below....none of which are OBD1. Does anyone have any idea where else my OBD connector could be or would it have had an OBD2 connector that has been removed? Confused!! Thanks, Andy

Hi, I am looking for a gearbox for my VR6. Current code is CHN so ideally one of these boxes! Must be in good condition - prefer off a low mileage car. Can collect anywhere in Scotland, out with i would need delivery. Thanks, Andy

Hi All, I picked up a 1994 VR6 a couple of days ago. It wouldn't go into 5th gear and just crunches when you try. Sometimes it would go in with a wiggle of the shifter. I changed the gearbox oil today and tried adjusting the shifter (both the left right throw and cable) to no avail. I have even tried manually selecting 5th by lifting the selector on top of the box and turning it left then dipping the clutch but it still just crunches!! Any ideas? I am guessing its time for a new box?? Thanks, Andy

ye thatl b fine for bosywork...only thing you have to watch is with cheaper MIG's the wire feed can be poor and the wire comes out "juttery" therefore is hard to get a smooth, consistant weld but you should be able to "spot" weld the bodywork with it. As for the rollcage it will be fine for that but again the feed may come into play...also ideally want as big a current as you can afford for maximum penetration  I wouldnt bother with a gas free one tbh, im sure theyv been outlawed in Europe as the fumes the flux coated wire gives off is toxic?? Also you could weld galv. steel with a MIG but would ideally have to buff the coating off before welding and again have the problem of fumes when welding! Andy

it IS a problem with BBSLMREPS. If the email address was obtained from that website and one of THEIR staff members took payment (or one of the people who was helping out) then it is an issue with the site directly and not just of JJ! The least that the other guys should be doing is contacting JJ themselfs and seeing what the situation is. After all, the member on this forum believed he was buying them from BBSLMREPS directly!! So in a word NO, i dont think your wrong mate. Andy

Halfords sell them mate....allows you to plug 12v items (coolbox etc) into your household 240v supply....£20 Andy
