On my satin valver I spotted that the carbon canister wasn't plumbed in, I wondered if it made a difference. I think it's going next time work on the project especially as its no even functional.

this'll be the 1st time Ive done this job. I dont have a ball joint splitter either. I dont think the alignment is good anyway, probably get it done after. theres so much grit it there :(

in my passat hanyes it says to leave the wheel on when undoing the hub bolt, is this the correct method? I just noticed my boot is way knackered and the way my street road surface is atm Im sure it'll get worse. Any more tips for this job? or things I should replace at the same time? ta

well its easier to get it off when the bumper is off tbh. wouldnt even waste time trying with it on the car unless you got it on a ramp still?

spent a minute today fitting the new thermoswitch, took the old one out with it in-situ in the bay (at the time didnt think much about the fact no water came out?!) anyway I fitted the new one and ran the car up to temp and again the rad fan never came on. I worked out how to bridge the switch and it worked....... so I'm thinking after the event its got a blocked rad??

just had a look at the base on mine and spotted thats it fecked. sounds good, I'll search how to fit it ;)

has anybody got the rear bench from a TT modified to fit the back? I got a great deal today and included the bench, width wise it looks similar to the corrado, has anybody done anything like this?
