  1. When i got my brocks they had 195's on and they were massively stretched, just looked like someone had painted the rim  Im running 215/40's on mine and they are stretched. I heard before that 215/40 is a much safer stretch than 205/40 dunno if thats true or not :? but i went for 215's because i couldnt get any good tyres in 205 only budgets. Mine catch though quite a bit with et15 and rolled arches running fairly low, but mines a VR6 with a wider track than the 16v so i should think you will be fine.
  2. IIRC someone got one of these before and they dont quite fit properly and need some 'modding' to fit.

    My VR6

Looks great mate! Lovely wheels 8)
  4. Yeah thats a dodgy set up as the rebound on the shocks wont be set up for short springs and the handling will severely suffer because of it. Best to get a set of shocks and springs together for better handling and ride etc. Like i said the G-Max was fairly comfortable with a sporty feel still and handled ok but weren't even close to the coilovers i have on it now which hold the road superbly but are a harsh ride so coilovers wont be for you.
  5. I had G-Max 40mm drop on my VR6 when i first got it and the ride was ok but the handling wasnt brilliant, was a bit sluggish and rolled a fair bit. EDIT: Are the springs on yours lower than standards? If so thats your problem as the standard shocks are not designed to work with shorter springs so it will be completely w@nk!
  6. Yeah i remember you saying! Could be the case then. I would go for a few thrashes to get rid of it and then stick some V-Power in it
  7. Looks like it has affected one guy on here :( http://www.the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=54084
  8. I certainly try to use V-power in mine all the time but unfortunately the closest Shell garage isn't exactly close so sometimes i cant make it there and i have to use my local Waitrose' super unleaded but they use BP fuel so its basically Ultimate. I wouldnt use it otherwise.
  9. I fcuking love RS4's if i won the lottery i would obviously have a veyron for fun but as a daily driver i would have the RS4!! I WILL own one one day :D
  10. Quality! I thought that! Havent heard 'toodle pip' for a while
  11. I have already posted about this mate a bit further down in General Chat http://www.the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=54042 Sorry to hear you got it mate :( you might have to siphon (sp?) the fuel out and replace with some good fuel and hope it hasn't fcuked your lamba or oxygen sensors etc :(
  12. i think i just wet my pants
  13. that'll tell him! Welcome to the forum. You will find absolutely everything you need to know here by using the search and the knowledge base! You got any plans for it already or are you keeping it standard? Rob.
  14. I dunno about easier, diecast parts are a bastard to get hold of!! As long as they are 1:18 scale you could make any wheels fit, but you just might lose the turning capability thats all.
  15. Well the wheels are with the guy so this time next week she will be blinging. Im not sure how they will look in photos tbh, might not even show much difference  but he's not just doing a normal refurb hence special :D
  16. Hi, I dont know whether its the same everywhere but some garages around my area have had a shipment of dodgy fuel causing cars oxygen sensors amongst other things to go wrong. I believe it is from sainsbury's, morissons, tescos and esso?? Just a heads up  Rob.
  17. These are one of the cars i WILL own one day. The corrado was my first dream car and now i have one and the VR6 as well which is wanted. So one day i will own an S2 or to be practical an RS2 avant
  18. Awesome cars and bloody rapid but have also heard that they are VERY expensive to run :( I also love the RS2 avant 8)
  19. Sounds good :) I hope you are not going to change your models wheels as much as you have your car!
  20. I got mine from german ebay a while ago but they appear on english ebay as well now and you can get them from some diecast websites now as well.
  21. Well according to my uncle a piece of pi$$. On the model standard the grill and lights are one piece of plastic strip so what i need to do is cut off just the lights and attach them as normal and make a new grill out of some strips of plastic and paint them black. I dunno how im going to salvage the VR6 badge though as ideally i want that on :? I will get some pics up when i make it, which i was hoping to do tonight but am busy now so will have to be another night now!
  22. Good aren't they! :D I didnt wanna take mine apart because it looked so good anyway but its going to look great when its done. Speaking of which, im slacking a bit with it at the moment. I have ran out of lacquer so need to get some more and finish the lacquering off! And i still havent made the badgless grill
  23. You are not wrong there 8) must resist temptation
  24. Yeah most guys with porsche wheels run 25mm adapters.
