I'm also in the market for late model moonlight blue panels.

I need a front right wing (driver's side). I could also do with a bonnet, but Sam has first option on anything offered.

I have 2 rear beams taking up space in my garage. Ideal candidates for blasting and powder coating.

One is from a Mk3 GTi, the other from a Corrado VR, but they're identical so it matters not really. IIRC one of them is polybushed and the other has braided hoses but with rusty zinc fasteners. I'll check and take pics shortly.

Seem to recall paying around 45 quid each, but could be wrong. If I'm adrift on price I'm sure it'll be pointed out soon enough. Just looking for reasonable price for each, ideally what I paid and, preferably, collected from Cambridge.

A clutch came out of my VR last week having done around 15K for a Helix to go in. It's still at Stealth in Southam, if they haven't recklessly binned it. I'll ask on Monday.

The man who showed interest seems to have gone cold, so I now have a full mint purple flecked black interior available if anyone's interested.

Some people want just fronts and some just the rears but I will only sell the set complete and won't split. If anyone's interested on that basis, please PM me.

Just taken the stock 02A box out to fit a Gemini. Box is in vgc, no crunching, all good. There's a Diselgeeks short shift kit to go with it, which totally transforms the change and a clutch is available, too, which has only done around 10-12K.

It's all at Stealth at the mo in Southam, Warks.

The heater control panel mounting and ashtray are different to my late version. I can possibly make use of the main frame but the rest isn't going to help me much, unfortunately.

How much would you want for it?

I'd recommend a rubberised or sprung mounting wherever you place it. Admittedly, my car is a tad on the stiff side but I've had 3 steel mounting brackets shear off. About to try a rubber mount.

Could well be interested, mate, as I plan to cut them up and make a custom one so I can move the heater control panel. As long as the mountings for the early style heater control panel are the same as the late and are all intact I can probably make good use of it.

Looking for multiple pristine plastic inserts that fit into the dash centre section to hold the stereo, heater control panel and ashtray.

Not sure whether these vary between early and late or between models but looking for a few of them for mods to a late VR.

I may have just what you want. I have a full interior (seats & cards) with hump back seat out of a late VR - black with purple fleck - in perfect condition; it's literally like new. I don't want to split it but...

Someone is interested in just the front, tho' he would have to buy the full set from me. I should know later this week (hopefully) what he wants to do when he's had a look and let you know if the rear is going to be available.

Wouldn't want to skimp on material quality for the sake of only a couple of quid, since these are going to cost hefty money anyway. Presumably, the original material was specced for good reason.

I was havinga look around the internet for window and door seals and found to my horror that the factorfy stuff costs an arm and a leg. I gather through hearsay a few members have used much more sensibly priced rubber stuff from Seals Direct to replace thier factory window seals with good results.

Does anyone have details of which of the Seals Direct parts fit which parts of the door/window, and what lengths are needed, by any chance? If so, I'd be very grateful for the info and mods might care to post it somewhere for general reference.

VAGCAT lists the plastic holder unit including the green bulb (PN 357919243 LAMPENTRAE) at €3.90 each.
