Just watching round 10, back in Oz after a 2 year absence. They've moved to forests on the eastern coast now, so doesn't look the same as you'd remember, no sun baked red dirt, more grey gravel. Not seen it for a few weeks now, got to say i'm glas Loeb hasn't walked away with the championship this year, Hirvonen is a couple of points ahead nw i think...

VR6 coilovers are specific however, as they will have a stiffer spring rate on the front struts to compensate for the extra weight of the VR lump.

So whats the story with the VSR/cams then Matt? Or is it still too sore a subject? Are they fitted now?? Matt -
I reckon so, 7's and 8's?
-
Yes they looked feckin sweet indeed. 8)

Hi mate, Rob (herisites) had this exact setup on his, drop him a PM, i'm sure he'll help you out with some info. Try changing your thread title to "Brock B2 problem" and he'll no doubt be along shortly...

You might find it's simply the circlip missing from the left hand side of the selection tower. Lift up the gear surround/gaiter, and look at the pivoting mech that the main gearstick shaft is part of, on the left side of that sits (or should) a small circlip which helps keep the pivoting mech tight, if thats missing you'll get sloppy/no gear selection as you have. Have a search on here for +gear +circlip, it'll prob throw a picture or two up if you're struggling to locate the circlip. HTH Edit: Follow this link: viewtopic.php?t=44064 for a pic of the clip

Early spec judging by the front/rear bumpers, but as said, G60 badged, and 1.8t lump, with a 5x100 conversion. A real hybrid, lets see some more pics!

They look more "lippy" than RX's, and the centre's don't look very BBS. Can't be RXII's as they're split rims aren't they? Whatever they are they look pretty nice though...

Fair play Toad, watched this thread for ages purely for the comedic value, glad its all come together for you! Good work!

Sounds exactly the same as when the fuel pump gave up on mine. Try the fuel pump relay first (you'll be able to find the number of the relay from a quick search). Could be a multitude of other things though. VAGCOM might also help you diagnose the problem. HTH and good luck.

These 2 win pics of the month for me, hands down! Great work mate, the results speak for themselves though eh? Your neighbours have been thinking "WTF?!" I did actually Laugh Out Loud when I saw those.

Welcome to the wonderfull world of Corrado's! :gag: Sounds like you've found her just in time!

My early valver wipers were a fixed speed (I think), as you said earlier, it depends on which relay is fitted i think. I seem to remember an old thread on here mentioning a MK3 Golf relay that you could swap over to, but maybe i dreamt that...

Welcome along! Like the job you've done on the manifold, looks smart. And a set of wheels I've never seen on a VR before, kinda look a little like the Sebring that were standard fitment on the early 16v, Golf Rallye etc... 8)

On mine, (late VR) you turn intermittent wipe on, then off immediately, wait the required time till the next wipe, then turn intermittent back on and leave it on. Works up to about a 30 second delay i reckon (thats as long a delay as i've ever set anyway) Never heard of adjusting the wipe delay with the MFA button though...

Door handle repair kit..........THEY ARE NOW AVAILABLE
mattnorgrove replied to daves16v's topic in Suppliers Forum
Hi Dave, the handle on the drivers side of my VR went earlier today, (fix one thing, another breaks!) so could do with purchasing one from if you have any made up/left over? Thanks in advance, Matt. -
Getting killer Midbass from Audioscape pods!
mattnorgrove replied to RichG60's topic in ICE 'n' Secure
That is definitely what's needed Colin, I was a little concerned when I fitted mine that the bracket connecting the original doorcard to the door had to be removed in order for the Audioscapes to fit. It seems now that there is simply not enough solidity/rigidity in the bottom right hand corner of the door card to produce a smooth clean sound. A custom bracket would be just the job... -
Could also be a weak battery maybe??
-
push backward from the front of the seat base, theres kind of a hook release mech you need to defeat.
-
No idea if it'll fit, BUT, those front seats look damn sexy in brown hide!

Yep sounds like the dim/dip resistor to me too. Located in the passenger inner wing, have a feel aroung on the wing side of the battery. As said previously just unplug that.
