When its well looked after, Tornado Red has to be best, not mine obviously  but G60greeny's for example. 8) Other than the obvious bias, I'd have to say either Aqua Blue Pearl, or Mystic Blue.

Jeez! Overtaking bikes too! Fknell! -
Cheers! Yeah its got the more common tilt only sunroof, would like to replace for a moonroof eventually, a job for next summer i suppose. :D

Aha! What kind of condition are they in? Any pics? Oh and how much would you be looking for? Cheers... I'd really appreciate that Toad, could do with repairing rather that replacing, especially this close to Xmas! Cheers dude!

Its the 1.8 16v, mechanical injection, but considered quicker than the 2.0 16v as you can hit 60mph in 2nd due to the different gearing. She loves a good thrashing! :D

Yeah to be fair the fit isn't quite what i was expecting, and templates are definitely needed for a better fit. I would say that making the templates up would be a lot easier on a "bare" bonnet, as really you'd need to fold the template material into the recesses to get it bang on, you just wouldnt be able to get the template right when theres already foam fitted, if you see where i'm coming from. So, who's got a late model bare underbonnet? P.S. Bear in mind that I cut the ones to the shape and size that you see fitted. Out of the box they were WAY too big, so if you were to order a set I suppose you could spend like the whole day cutting them "just right". I'm just not that perfectionist, and they're hardly on constant display are they? :D -
Was considering that TBH, I do like the early bonnet, looks a little sleeker, but the bonnet's one of the only panels on mine with decent paint! :( lol Cheers Jim, gotta love the Borbets, didn't know yours sported a set?

OK, can anyone tell me if the subframe splits from the actual seat body, or do i need a complete seat? Was hoovering the C out this morning, went to adjust the height of the drivers seat so i could get underneath it to hoover the rear footwell, the seat shot up (cos i wasnt sitting on it!) and the result was a broken cross member under neath the seat towards the rear, so now i cannot get the seat to stay in 1 position, just seems to float up and down. Not ideal. So, is it a subframe i need or a complete unit or what? Any help greatly apreciated... And if you know of one for sale, i'm interested... Cheers...

Well I've been on here over a year so it thought it about time I posted a pic or 2! She's a 1990 Tornado Red 16v, 140k with grey leather interior, which needs many little bits doing, if I ever get time! Since I've had her (14 months now) she's had bits replaced all over the place (bushes, brakes, cambelt, PAS and water pump etc etc etc) to try and get her to the stage I'd like. Ultimately she'll need a respray as there are a few little problem areas, but she is 17 I suppose. Lowered 40mm, SS Exhaust, Borbet C 16x7.5 (best wheel for the C ever made) with Goodyear Eagle F1's all round, late G60 steering wheel, and an 8 Ball Gear Knob. Here she is! Feel free to make comments/suggestions.... :D

OK so finally got round to fitting the Noisekiller this morning, I knew the underside of the bonnet would need a good clean, so a quick trip to Halfords for some Gunk Ultra, and I made a start. Heres how it looked before cleaning.... Grotty and greasy. So after a liberal all over spray of the Gunk Ultra, and a 5 minute wait, I gave it a good wiping off with warm wet cloths.... The result.... Quality product, the greasy shoit literally just wipes away! Spruced the bay up very quickly (well the slam panel and struts! ) So, I got round to the fitting part, now the sections didn't fit exactly, but they trim easily enough with some good scissors, although it is difficult to get the shapes exactly right. The quality of the backing and the foam is excellent though, and the reflective covering is tough, being kind of criss crossed with threads, altogether very good. The result after about an hours worth of trimming, trial fitting, trimming, trial fitting etc etc, and finally sticking each section in place (the self adhesive is very good too, it aint ever coming off!) The finished article..... Once fitted it makes a noticeable difference to the engine noise level, so it certainly does what it says on the tin! Once again a big thanks to Shawshankkid for the freebie! Nice one! :D :D :D -
Cheers for that, just had a good search through old posts  and found some other ideas to try out too... I'll be following the KB guide on Sunday I reckon... Happy days! :D

OK, any ideas on what to try to solve my current problem, as ever greatly appreciated. :D Whenever i return to the car after a long or short run, every window, tailgate included, is covered with condensation on the inside, literally dripping down the glass. It probably takes about an hour to fully cover the windows, but after 10 mins or so its well on its way. Has anyone else suffered this? The problem has been compounded the past couple of mornings due to the frost. The inside of the screen has been sheeted in ice! I'm thinking door/tailgate seals, or maybe the membranes inside the doors? Or are there seals that wear out around the heater motor maybe? Cheers all! :)

May be talkin pish, but I thought most USB stuff only requires the driver installation for Win 98 or older OS's? Thought you didn't need to install drivers in XP? Probably gonna get flamed by the techies now but just a thought??? :D

Alexander If your bonnet has an indent running down the centre ----____---- like this, its early spec, if its got a bulge running down the centre ___------___ like this, then its late spec. Hope this helps... :D -
Sounds like the thermostat stuck open to me....

Hi guys, I finally bought my first Corrado Monday.
mattnorgrove replied to Rento_VW's topic in General Car Chat
Looks like a sweet VR you got there. Great colour too. Welcome to the forum! :D -
Reckon you'd have to buy the arms complete, doubt the bushes would be available seperately....

Here's me on the left, out recently on the lash with a daft mate....

Very nice valver. Unsure about the front splitter, as the deviant says, it'll soon look tatty once you've lowered it and it scrapes the ground at every opportunity... :(

Alonso parts company with McLaren - no surprise there!
mattnorgrove replied to ReekieVR's topic in General Car Chat
Would like to see Kovailanen at Mclaren next year, it'd be a good partnership between the drivers. The best thing that could've happened to the team this year is Alonso leaving. The guy has been upstaged by a rookie all season, so is understandably upset, but what a bad loser! -
The joy of Corrado...

Sweet, got a late bonnet on my early valver so make me No.2! Cheers! -
Think he's trying to say the car's 16, not himself... Lovely nugget though....

Yep, mine had the opposite problem, pulled to the left when braking. Turned out to be a dodgy rear O/S caliper...
