  1. I now have the old cloth interior for sale, £200 for everything, ad posted in classifieds!
  2. I found it, let me know if you still want it
  3. I too had a set of FKs which were nackered when I took them off my VR (really dont rate them at all) and I sold them on ebay (with a completely honest description and a ton of photos to show any damage) and got £100 odd quid for them. Just make sure your'e completely honest with description so as not to disappoint anyone and then get saving for the rest!
  4. I have speedlines, with tyres, but im in Surrey...
  5. You're starting to turn that into a very nice looking VR..dont spend money to put that suspension back on the car unless you have to...it will only niggle at you knowing that it is rubbish and you will end up replacing it anyway. Save and get something decent, (KW V1/2s for example) and if in the mean time you need something to tie you over you can pick up second hang springs and shocks very cheap these days..i sold my old standard set-up for £40.
  6. Sorry mate, couldnt find one. Thought i had one somewhere.
  7. Ordered some Gliptone leather restoration products today so hopefully will get the new interior looking much better this weekend. Even after a good scrub with G101 it looked so much better, I'm hoping to get some good results.
  8. No, but I got distracted half way through, sorry. I will look again tomorrow (am out tonight)
  9. Thanks mate, much appreciated - I have been working loads recently to try and get some good results and am quite pleased with how she is taking shape. As well as the leather interior and new wheels I have also bought new new tail lights which are going all red, fitted a color coded rocker cover, and various new hoses and bottles etc, K&N panel filter, new rear bumper plus a full new audio set up. The wheels are EXIP, I got them on ebay for a bargain as a set of interim wheels (mainly as they had brand new toyos on) but I think I will keep them for a little while as they do sit and look quite nice I think.
  10. Did a fair bit of work on the car this weekend..fitted a black leather interior, new rear bumper, rear brakes and gave her a good clean with some work on the engine bay as well. The new wheels have come up quite well too after a good scrub.
  11. I might have one, i'll look in the garage tomorrow.
  12. Apologies, mine wont be available anymore I dont think, sorry mate
  13. I have late, dark grey, very good condition, cloth interior, full set up with all the seats and door cards, front and rear, and all the plastics - door pins, handles, levers etc, except the tilt level on one of the seats has snapped (seat can still be tilted forwards though) which can be bought from VW for £3.50ish.. the only other fault I can find is a small part on the drivers seat where the stitching has stretched and left a small hole, its not a rip though..and thats it, other than that really good nic. No idea what it is worth, the chap above is asking £325 for a cloth interior which seems pretty toppy, i'd go for £250ono. Let me know if you want pics or want to view/buy.
  14. I might be able to help in a week or so if you havent found any by then. Where are you based?
  15. Yup definitely normal thread - mine were difficult at first but some WD40 and a 17mm worked fine
  16. they came with some centre caps but didnt look very good with them on so want to get some made myself..wouldnt be my first choice but they were a bargain, especially as they have brand new toyo proxes on.
  17. Picked these up the other day..wanted to keep the car looking oem and really happy with how they look. Will get them re-furbed at some point but they cleaned up quite well..
  18. thanks pete, already got 288mm brakes on the front, and it turned out to be a stuck stone..so problem sorted.
  19. That is so pointless!! Why make one side obsolete??
  20. as above, for a VR6 (although I dont know if it makes a difference) Thanks
