so 9 days after it was due my car is still off the road..this engine sawp has uncovered a whole load lof other bits and bobs that need fixing/replacing, was supposed to pick it up today all fixed, but now it looks like wednesday, just really starting to bum me out!!! :( none of my mates feel my pain so thought maybe you guys would listen to me rant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

how do you do that? surely thats so much effort for such little result??

as the bills on my rado are starting to rack up im wondering how much the average user spends on maintaining and cosmetically and technically modifying their corrado?? this topic is NOT intended for anyone to show off, nor is it a competition so please dont be offended by me asking, just curious thats all!!

yeah plugs, mine wouldnt start a few days ago having put a new engine in and it turned out to be the spark plugs!

mark, if you find somewhere let me know, i need to do mine...??

apparently it has been in 2 cars, a mk1 track car and a mk2? which one! well im really looking forward to driving it when it decides to f*%king start!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :(

bristolbaron, yeah thats the one! couldnt remeber its name, to be honest i try to frequent it as little as possible, i think the staff are rude and clueless..(really sorry if anyone on here works there..but its true) but if i get desperate its quite handy! do you know any better stores similar near us?

no but i need to, mine still flash too fast, but had a few bigger issues to solve before..

mark, the amber LEDs defintaly work.. if you go to the top of the gloucester road and keep going unitl you get to the texaco there is a shop just before the petrol station that sells them...really not far from my house!! message me if you need better directions!! (glad u finally found some new lights! :lol:)

UPDATE! so got the engine on friday night and left it with the garage to start work on saturday, come saturday a few problems had arisen, all the bolts were rounded off and all the manifold studs had snapped so all had to be drilled out which took a lot longer than expected...then engine all in by today and ready to go and it wont start!!!!!!!!!!!! mechanic spent hours and hours and still no luck :( thinking maybe immmobiliser problems but gonna be a few more days now! in the mean time got a 50mm inlet manifold sorted and arriving tomorrow which is good but so far im a little disheartened!!!!!!!

well if they look good (and i have faith they will) and stay at that price id be interested for sure!!

did they have a late model C though? it says that for the late models it needs modding but the early models should fit fine? i dunno!
