when i first bought the rado about 5 months back the oil light flashed and beeped constantly until i had an oil flush and it stopped...in the last few weeks it has started doing it again and i have discovered it only happens after running the car for about 20 mins and ONLY when the revs are below 2,500 rpm, as soon as it goes over it stops..ANY ideas what this might be and how to fix it? also still getting smoke at 5,000rpm plus, could it be linked???

id be interested to know how much people think this is worth as mine is really similar just with 87k on the clock, trying to work out if i should sell her or keep her wack a faster engine in, if it had high miles i wouldnt hesitate but the low mileage makes me think i should sell and buy an older one!! hmmm

being failry new to all this im always impressed with the projects and knowlegde people on here have, but this is something else....hope it all goes to plan!

haha..i know exactly what you mean, my car was grubby as, and after the snow had melted it looked pretty clean! all good!! brake dust removal however i reckon is quite optimistic!!

i feel your pain! the worst that ever happened to me was in my mk3 golf, i got half way over a speed bump, and there was NO way i was gonna make it so i reversed and the bumper somehow got caught and ripped straight off the front of the car, no jokes! not good!

hmm, could be the gear linkages..if it gets worse and noticable through all the gears it is most likely the linkages are about to break!

i see what ur saying, and deep down im so sure its a scam...BUT what if he's just using me to cash a cheque or something along those lines, and is happy to 'lose' £2,490 in doing so, (for whatever reason) either way i end up with a sold car!! (optimistic hey)!! thats why i want to know if anyone has heard of anything like this before!

also..seems to me that those with low mileage ones seem to be complaining more about problems than those with high miles! odd!

mines on 85,000! but somethings definately not quite right! :(
