Nice install mate. My folks are thinking about doing this but i'm not sure how big a system they'd need to make it worth while. Be interested to hear how you get on over the next few months.
-
In a word. Yes.
-
That is really impressive! To add to Coullstar's question about boost, what turbo is that running?
-
Wiper linkage arm 536-955-325 I have a few to sell.

Payment sent Si And to echo Jon and my earlier post, well done on such a well organised group buy. Top work! -
I wish I could convince my missus to buy something interesting. Currently languishing in a bloody Honda! Here you go Karl http://www.hpamotorsports.com/vr6-single.html
-
Yeah but you probably have an understanding other half..... and a garage! More pics needed Karl, you know what this forum is like!
-
Very nice mate, and more pics needed! Been eyeing up R32's myself after chats with various people but probably more of a pipe dream having 2 v6's!
-
Ahhh I couldn't see the picture before, assumed it was another VR. Nice looking motor, going to give us the run down on the specs?
-
Not sure what I've got on my spare gearbox mate but I'll have a look when I get home.... you never know.
-
Update ya sig! Good to have you back Karl, a few more and all the old crew will be on here again
-
Haha, at least you got it sorted. Looks really good, look forward to seeing it in the flesh.
-
Did you sort those dials in the end mate? Looking good with the rest
-
Yep, as above. You'll need the compressors to get the shock/spring/top mount etc back into one piece but then it should be a simple fit and bolt up job. If you don't want to pay for spring compressors I have a set you can borrow?
-
Ooooh I missed this. Yes £50 posted I'll take it!
-
That's cool, just let me know. The nut goes inside that linkage where the slot is, that's what holds it in place.
-
Sorry, no pics I'm afraid just memory. It's just a square m8 nut. I think I've got a spare if you can't find it. Like this http://www.ereplacementparts.com/images/part_252157-5.gif
-
It should be, from the top, - nut, weight, spindle, cable, washer. Then there should be a square nut that fits inside the selector arm which you screw it into.
-
Fair enough mate. I use the suction mount more now but on my motorbike I always used the sticky pads and they were perfect. And they come off without leaving any marks so don't worry about that.
-
Haha, missed this the other day. We do produce large reciprocating machinery! Looking good mate, did you mount it with the suction mount or sticky pads?
-
Hi Andi What's the chances of bringing back some sort of forum banner? I like the new layout but it was always good to log on each day and see a different car, and then there's those lucky days when it's your own car.... ooh the excitement!! Just a thought.

So how much do you want for all the rest? -
Haha! Nice one James. Don't forget all the money I spent on it before selling it..... Bloody cheek!

I've got a competition front and fast road rear/gearbox and they're great. Especially with the 24v as it's nice and smooth so less vibes through the car. Mine isn't a daily so you may just want fast road all round.
