Cheers. Th corrado is my sensible option, prior to this I had a motorbike! :lol: Well I've just spent 2 hours in halfords trying the seats. To be fair the lad there was very helpful. But nothing they had is going in the back comfortably.... so he'll be riding shotgun I guess. Seen a couple we like the look of so we'll have a better look online tonight to see what the reviews etc say. I'll keep the forum updated for future corrado keeping parents.

Hi All I know this has been asked before but with new models of baby/toddler seat all the time I'm just wondering if anyone has purchased one recently that fits in the back of the 'rado? Most of the threads I've found are a few years old and the seats don't appear to be available anymore so I need something up to date. Needs to be a Group 1 or Group 1/2/3 seat as my boy is now 15 months. Cheers Mic

What a great weekend! Couldn't have asked for a better reintroduction to corrado meets..... And thankfully people seemed to remember who I was! :lol: Gutted I narrowly missed out on a show & shine trophy but there were some worthy winners and some excellent examples in the group. Loved the parade laps and also seeing some of the forum member using them properly doing some sessions on track. I'm a little gutted I didn't head out myself but once I know the car better I'll definitely be joining in on some track time. Great to see the old crew, and to camp on Friday night and have a proper catch up. Special thanks to Chris M for the food and cooking it, best paella I've ever had on a campsite... And good to meet some new people and put faces to names. I'll try to check what footage I got on the camera during the week and put the video on YouTube. Looking forward to seeing you all again soon.

Have you thought about any of these smart repair places? I know there's a guy near me who works out of a van (think Chips-away kind of service) who is able to do the rust/damage repair as well as the paint match etc just using a pop up booth. Ok it's never going to be as good as a full bodyshop respray but I've heard the results he gets are pretty good even with metallic paint. This is the route I'll be taking on the R32, just to tidy for now and worry about a full respray later

Never heard of them but wish I had, that's a great price! Is that restricted to a certain BHP? I had to go with HIC with my R32, most didn't want to quote but the usual suspects were all around the same price, but HIC seemed to offer better service.

This all makes interesting reading, I always thought a respray would be at least £3k even if on the cheap. Good to know people think it can be done for less.

Well he hasn't put it up for sale properly yet but it's Pete's low mile VR...... More show, less go than the current car. Mines got a mk5 engine, stainless manifold, decat, stealth map. Apparently it made 278bhp on stealths rolling road.

My old 24v

I'd be in.... Except I'm going Friday evening now.

Have to say that both my 24v conversion (that I also did instead of a rebuild) and the R32 I've got now sound brilliant. If I get a chance I'll put a clip up of both. I think I'd like an original one though, to keep for a long time, something to appreciate hopefully.

Haha, love this! Be interesting to see how you get on with this, having driven Supercharged's many moons ago I remember it being quite an odd sensation to have a Corrado with all the diesel traits but ultimately his works really well. Good luck
