  1. Cheers Steve, think I'll be putting in an order tomorrow.
  2. Really nice car this, putting in a lot of time/effort/money and looks like you're reaping the rewards. Top work.
  3. I'd love to come Wendy but it's a bit too far from me this time round.
  4. Great work fla, can I get in on a set as well please? Cheers
  5. My return is complete. Hello sexy!
  6. Rob said it was from an Austin princess....... Same as the beige interior.....
  7. Like the change of name 3CM, any reason other than to distance yourself from the Corsa? Ding on the front is least of my worries as it's been touched up quickly so no rust. More concerned about some of the bubbling down the sides but I'm hoping to whip it up to a local bodyshop in a few days to see what they say. Hoping to make my mark on it. No doubt some wheels will be in order, but a tidy up is the main course of action at the moment.
  8. Yes mate, keep it in the Corrado family. Right, pics of how it is as of now. Already creating a list of parts that I need and will be on the lookout for but for now the plan is to get it through its MOT next week and maybe take it to Jersey for our holiday. As you can see the interior needs some work, drivers seat is pretty bad, and there are a number of spots of rust bubbling and dents that need pulling, windscreen also needs replacing..... but for now I'll be concentrating on the urgent items
  9. Cheers guys, it feels good to be back. I've missed all the banter and camaraderie on here. Tried some bike forums and its not the same. Wendy - yes, looking forward to the national day. Hopefully be there and get out on track, see how quick it really is. Bill - would've loved to get Mincy back but couldn't do it to you after you've made him so good now. Steve - I'm not a big enough twunt to be on the apprentice....
  10. Haha, cheers mate. Get some pics of the car up in a bit. Unfortunately due to lack of time and money it's got a couple of bodywork and trim issues but thankfully it's mechanically sound. Glad some usual faces are around, be nice to catch up at some point.
  11. Well after less than 2 years..... I'm back! Having sold Mincy to get back into motorbikes but instead having a son and not doing anything much with cars or bikes since I thought another Corrado might be in order. Been hanging around in the background pretty regularly but now I've managed to acquire Mr Herisites blackberry Corrado R32..... And it's a beast! Needs some tidying up but mechanically sound and the engine is a beauty. I'm looking forward to getting back into the forum member banter again and to getting my hands dirty after a couple of years on two wheels. Will put up some pictures soon, might continue Rob's original thread as there is so much detail in there as well and I don't want to lose all that. So who's still here then? Do I have to start again as a newbie?
  12. Aww come on Bill! I've just been looking through my old thread and I've got a real hankering for another at the moment..... And seriously if you even think of parting with it just let me know. Keep up the good work.
  13. Hi Bill Finally got some free time to check out the forum and the progress with the car. Looking amazing mate! Thinking of getting another one myself at the moment but haven't seen any I really fancy...... don't suppose I could get her back?? Mic
  14. Nice bikes guys, although shame to hear about the Superduke Graeme..... was a tough call between one of them and the Daytona.... couldn't get the Superduke down the alley into the garden though. wy906 - I wanted a yellow one but the wife say no
  15. Very nice mate, is that a bubble screen as well? I'm currently on the look out for a screen and some tank pads. I hadn't really thought about bringing the forks level to the top yoke, I've not really ridden it far/hard enough to be changing anything yet but I did get a little caught out on Saturday by just how quick it wants to turn. Had to stand it up a little in some corners as it just wants to go quicker and quicker. Think of an apex and you've already hit it! Just want the weather to improve so I can get out on it a bit more. Loving being back in the saddle though.
  16. Thread resurrection! New toy now the 'rado has gone for those who are interested..... you'll note it almosts fills our tiny garden but better than having it on the road eh?
  17. As I'm sure most of you will have noticed Mincy is now in the fine care of Bill and although sad to see him go I'm still planning to be on here most of the time and I'll be looking for another as soon as I can sort some storage or I convince the wife we need to move for a drive/garage space. In the meantime, the new toy arrives tomorrow. Probably not to peoples tastes on here but far easier for me to store. Pics once it's here.
  18. Hey Bill Glad you're enjoying Mincy to the full, he's a great car and I'm 100% sure you'll be happy with him. Tough watching you drive away last week so I thought I'd give it a few days before coming back on the forum but glad he's in good hand and can't wait to see your progress. Don't forget you can call me anytime with questions and I'll try to help. Enjoy! Mic
  19. http://www.ultimatecartuning.tv Check out the first couple of minutes of episode 1! That's twice now I've been on tv at a car event, I was in the last episode of campervan crisis at Bugjam running my Green mk2 Golf up & down the strip. Great find David, cheers for the eagle eyed viewing.
  20. Eh? What the devil.... does that make him famous?
  21. You'll have to at least buy me a drink first..... like Toad does.....
  22. They're awesome on my car, I've got competition front and fast road rear & gearbox mounts. You do get a little extra vibes but its worth it for the handling increase.... The one thing I would say is the competition ones are very hard, I wouldn't go competition all round.
  23. I sure do, I think she was first attracted to my large collection of polo-neck jumpers and from there marriage was the next logical step......
  24. So imagine the scene, the wife and I are driving up to the in-laws in Manchester when we come off the M62 to join the M66 heading to Bury and we pull up to a set of traffic lights just as a Corrado crosses in front of us....... and the following conversation takes place..... Wife 'was it that corrado making that stupid noise?' Me 'yes, and its not a stupid noise' Wife 'yours doesn't sound like that' Me 'well no but that's a G60, its meant to sound like that' Wife 'it sounds like its got a cat being mangled in it' Not much else you can say to that, plus I was too busy laughing...... girls eh?
  25. Car passed the MOT with flying colours this morning, just a fuel filter clip change and it's ready to roll for another 12 months. I think this is now my most consistant MOT pass car I've had, by my workings I think it's only needed work 1 year in the 5 I've had it. Good Mincy.
