  1. Seriously? Is that private or council? If I could find something like that I'd be laughing. To bring it back on topic, I can see why so many people come back to Corrado ownership. I only use mine once a fortnight maybe but when I do I love it and think ''nah I'm not selling, I'll keep it''... it's a rollercoaster of emotions in a C! lol
  2. Purely because it never gets used Jim. I walk or cycle everywhere these days, I've done about about 150 miles in it in the last 3 months. If I had a garage it'd be staying, no questions, but I haven't even got a driveway!
  3. That's fine mate, I've only been working tonight anyway (in between the forum lol) so probably best I got on with it. Regarding the bodywork, have a look on my members thread I'm always honest about what is good and bad on the car. It will definitely need some work on the passenger rear arch and it has been keyed which I haven't sorted yet. Plus the usual stone chips etc.. Better I tell you now than waste both yours and my time/effort to see the thing in person, plus I'm still not 100% on the idea of selling so I won't be offended if it's not for you..... I'll just keep it.
  4. Hmmmmm, well kind of...... but I'm not really trying..... lol Plus I don't think mine will cut it bodywork wise for Karl.
  5. This is what Graham did on mine in the end. Sorry for the rubbish pics.
  6. Think you have mate. The mk5 ones are what DG used on my 24v install, with a bit of modding to the standard VR downpipe. Works a treat. Edit - should have flat edges on the faces that meet the head I think?
  7. Hmmm, I've seen something like those used before.... but where?.....

    Steam Cleaner

Anyone have any recommendations on a good, reasonably priced steam cleaner I can use to smarten up my interior? Links etc appreciated
  10. Because we all now girls choose their cars based on the colours available? (only kidding ladies)
  11. Sorry guys, not going to make it. Wife decided we should have an argument instead.... ffs.
  12. Spent 1.5hrs cleaning/hoovering the car last night, probably the same tonight with the polish/wax and I can only come for the first hour or so tomorrow.......... .... I think I need help....
  13. Haven't quite cracked and considering another corrado just yet then Karl?
  14. Not sure about corrado specific in norwich but there are the dub generation meets that happen around Norfolk. There is also a meet on the 16th April in peterborough that quite a few of us are going to.
  15. Same reason, mine isn't hooked up at the moment but I was wondering if it takes the reading from the condition sensor in the Sump. Took the car out for a run earlier and realised I need to get the oil temp sorted. I wonder if its can-bus driven......
  16. Nicely done mate, glad its all sorted. Quick question for you. Any idea where the 24v's take their oil temp reading from?
  17. Think you can retumble them.... but I might be thinking door locks. Mines had an ignition barrel in the past and it seems to be a common problem for a lot of running issues. Hoping to see you at the Peterborough meet in a few weeks still mate?
  18. Really like this. Could have been so easy to scrap it back in 2005 when that deer hit you but hats off to you for sticking with it and producing a fine end product. Shame you're over near Norwich as there is a meet in Peterborough in a few weeks, you should bring your creation along.
  19. If you're really struggling to find someone with Vag-com you could try mrbeige. He's based near Ely.
  20. Cool, pm me your bank details and I'll send to monies over this evening.
  21. Interested in forza 3 mate, how much for posted?
  22. I'm with you on the refinement stages. I'm starting to think about going back to Speedline and 288's myself at the moment as I think the 17s aren't quite to my tastes for drivability. Love the way they look but I don't think I'm going to get away from the rubbing issue without raising it. But, as I'm sure you'll agree, it drives so well as it is I'm lothed to mess around with the suspension. If I can squeeze the AP's under Speedlines I'll keep them but we'll have to see. Been thinking seriously about the cams from Bill. You still interested?
  23. How you getting on with the 288's and Speedlines now mate? Going back to 17s and big brakes again soon??
  24. If you want me to check piston size etc I've got a set of spare rear calipers in the shed. Let me know and I'll did them out.
  25. In fact I think it's this one
