  1. Excellent attention to detail, very tidy instal. I'll be watching as its something I need to do, where did you get the fuse box from?
  2. Its not the corrado wiring diagram you need to be looking at, its the mk3... If its not connected to anything get rid! I can't remember the shape of the auxillary pump plug but go have a look behind your fusebox in the rado and it you can see it. If i remember correctly it looks something like the plug dave is on about in the last page
  3. Nope you are correct, its the wires on the other side of the plug you need to look for. The mk3 auxiliary pump wiring goes straight to the fan control whereas the corrado goes through the fusebox
  4. Hey Fla, looks like things are progressing well! Anyway I'll try help 1. Not sure what it is but I don't remember having it and can't think of anything it would plug into. 2. I played it safe with earthing cables and unless it wasn't connected to anything I left it in. 3. I believe the 6th photo is indeed washer jets, looks like the same connector and wires. 4. 7th photo, the green one looks like wiper motor and the other one I'm afraid I can't help 5. 8th picture looks like your purple diagnostic wire, I forget its been such a long time ago. I get mixed up between the purple and the purple and white wire but I believe it connects to the diagnostic plug, it does say it somewhere in the thread about snipping off the plug from the corrado loom and soldering onto this loom. 6. You are missing your auxillary water pump wires, this is the problem that rams has been having. I've posted quite a few times in the forum about these 2 wires. Basically if it comes out of that big multi plug on the side of the engine it needs to be connected and I'm betting there are 2 wires that are not...
  5. Yea keep looking at that, but just doesn't sit right for some reason. It was the one on ebay for ages, he bought it then stuck it up for sale straight away. I've had a previous bad experience and luckily got out without losing money
  6. Evening all, I'm after an R32/Audi 3.2 engine for a conversion, I'll need all the ancillaries plus looms. Does anyone have anything or can they point me in the right direction, been looking for a damaged/salvage but not having much luck.
  7. You pull it to the right (towards nearside), it just clips on. Its a little fiddly but it shouldn't need much persuasion. Its the cover for the 3 water temp sensors, the yellow, blue and black ones.

    All red rears

Hey all, I'm after some all red rears. I have a spare set of lights I can swap with, currently has one inner and outer wrapped with some lamin-x film with the slots cut out for the reverse light but I don't like the look of the film, prefer the painted look so. Have done one side inner and outer without any air bubbles and have the sheet for the other side. Thats if for some reason someone wants some all red rears with the cutout. Let me know what you have anyway. Cheers
  9. Think I'll be needing a chat with you at some point, I'm wanting to do a climate control conversion and the TEVES conversion as well as the corrado ABS system is absolute garbage! Although I do really fancy having a crack at the Audi A3 dash conversion. Hoping to get an R32 in the bay first though!
  10. Yea I think I remember it, you mean the dark blue one with the sat nav and climate control, he had moved the climate control to where the ash tray was. Very nice bit of kit if I remember correctly, had the 4mo engine, big brakes and rota wheels?
  11. Looks like good project but still no pictures! I do believe if you are doing the mk4 shifter mount you need the TT shifter weight, thats what is on my list of things to buy. You thought about doing the A3 dash conversion again? Its something I'd like to do after seeing your first attempt, looked soo tidy
  12. I just watched that film the other day and noticed it as well, had to rewind to double check haha
  13. Mine has the standard VR oil cooler and runs at around 120 most of the time so with a mocal I would say yes that is way too high.
  14. Yes you are mad, think most of us are though! I said never again after my first, then 6 months later I was back in the drivers seat.
  15. I realise this is not a cheap fix you might want to hear but I bought one of those swg scuttle covers and bought 2 random washer jets with fan spray from scrapyard, think they were from a xsara and drilled holes the the panel and put them in there. Very neat and can barely tell they are there!
  16. Hey, no you'll be looking at the golf wiring diagram g3vr6ecu95on, page 7 and g3radfan3speed because you now have the obd2 stuff. You are looking for V50 (coolant circulation pump). I'll have to review my notes to help out more.
  17. Car looks very smart, I just realise I was trying to help out then disappeared for a bit whilst I moved into a new house. I too had problems with the auxillary water pump when installing obd2 like I said. Not sure what information I have provided or what you have done to fix get it working whilst the engine is on but I'm pretty sure there is a thread of mine somewhere with pictures of the wires that need connecting. Can you read a wiring diagram? If so have a look through here: https://drive.google.com/#folders/0B_V9-6xfgGlINzhhM2IyNmItOWRhZS00MzBkLTk2MTEtNGIyZDFmMDg0NWM2. Have you got the obd2 loom unwrapped?
  18. Lol, if you wish. I'll try get a picture next time I'm at my garage. Its a mason tech replica I bought off vr6pete a couple of years ago
  19. I've got a sump guard for mine I havn't fitted, my VR tends to run quite warm and I found that when I didn't run my splitter it ran cooler so probably needs good airflow to cool it. Am tempted to draw it up and get some prices to get some made up
  20. Put the corrado in her winter home and the day after saw 2 corrado's in 1 day in Beverley, was driving in my beemer so got a confused look when I flashed my lights at one of them. Then saw another one parked up in Morrisons car park in Beverley, was about to take a photo when some crazy women nearly crashed her trolley into the car so watched and waited just in case I needed to ram her trolley through her car window before taking payment for any damages to the corrado.
