its got 190 k on but the guy just said, just take it as not having one done and see how it drives and see for yourself and it did drive fine so hopefully lots of life left, only smoke a tiny bit when ya floor it, me dads poor kia tdi got smoked on the way home, silly old man trying to race a bmw lol and i got the most mpg home too haha but no history for rebuild just what he told me he said it just had a basic on like bearing oil pump valve stem oil seals etc off previous owner and no history sadly, spose it comes with such a clean car for the price, just needs real m3 side repeaters and front indicators and ditch the chesy clear ones and spoiler bolting on better, few interior bits and some tlc on the leather and shes perfect :D and its not a deadly auto lol -

its a 325 tds se 170bhp, drove it home just there and cant belive how well these things pull, its be chipped and its a flying machine that also does 50mpg 8) only bad thing about it is ive checked hpi and its been cat d, its drives and runs perfect and i paid 1200 for her so with full leather, m3 kit lights etc, electrics and apparently it had a rebuild bout 30k ago must be worth it? no proof of rebuild but does drive with no smoke and pulls superb so reakon it was worth it? ps of yes im back on the forum

its stuck in me garage with no front end on :( me neighbours reported me to dvla for it been in me street so im wating for my m8 to let me get it in his workshop out the back of his house, gunna sell off all the cossie bits i have now and get a nice highflow 4 branch for it and try and find a rotrex when bonus arrives next month or a vortech style thing from usa see what pop ups really :D either way she not going anywhere till shes finished 8) actually it look alot like yours bud haha sept no room either side to work on sadly
-
scraped the turbo idea, too much heat soak and confined space for it without crossflow head so getting a nice flowing 4 branch and a rotrex for it instead or another similar style charger in new year, less work so should be back in time for summer, so whos missed me haha must of been boring on here without me like i reakon haha :D

my car has NO rust, spent most its life hiding in the lovely weather haha, it seems to be when water flows in between the window and bonnet gap in large amounts, and how do my posts make ya eyes bleed haha?
-
its not coming in anwhere near the door :confused4: , it drips from behind the dash, and my centrol locking tempremental on that side so the door aint going nowhere at the mo lol
-
cheers bud ill give it a check tmoro 8) i jammed bin bags down in between the bonnet and window for now :D
-
the car isnt loosing water as it hasnt moved last 6 month and when it was on te road the flor was soaked few times and almost got mouldy which coolant wudnt but whenever it rains heavy i get a soaked passenger side footwell (driver to you lot as mine LHD), i used to top water up once every month if that so it not a coolant leak so is there a common seal which causes it as it bone dry at the mo but soon as the terrential rain comes it get soggy again and i chucked a bucker of water b4 over the windscreen and say in drip into car after

HELP, turbo clearance issues :(:(:(
corrado_sunderland replied to corrado_sunderland's topic in Engine Bay
i tink i have a cunning plan, if i run the pipe sharp left toward block then down, it hopefully will clear easy and get under car easy :) , hope it works, that way i can even grind the mount if i have to and it away from bolt on bit 8) -

the manifold offset so if i flip it over itll sit closer to mount side and higher up as flange set that way :( . where theres a will theres a way but it just anoyin like, the whole job would be so much better if it would go other way, i gunna re-check to see if it will as it would love it to go tha way anyway for air intake but i almost postive itll foul ill try all the different combos wit possitions etc. And i could even butcher the inlet and tilt it more upwards i spose to make it fit, hmmmmmmmmmmm let see ey, id rather cut and weld ally that fabricate a whole new mount -
HELP, turbo clearance issues :(:(:(
corrado_sunderland replied to corrado_sunderland's topic in Engine Bay
the turbo cant go the other way, the outlet would sit on the inlet manifold its impossible and it cant go around the mount theres no room at all, even if i did turn it other way and got it to clear the turbo would be on the sticking up side so would be rite up there and the actuator would fowl anyway, if i really have to ill make me own mount but it just really pissin me off now, if u knew the 8v's were such a fuck on to turbo i would of crossflowed it, ill try and see if i can get the manifold to sit a different way but by looks of it i gunna have to scrap thw whole rubber mount set up and make a solid bar mount which will sit alot lower as the rubber mount gone :bad-words: startin to get on me tits now like and i got the tighest 90 deg bends ya can buy from net that y they two pieces welded together
