Stainless steel engine fittings uprated suspension bolts
MarkFoster replied to swampy's topic in Suppliers Forum
That would be really handy if you could post that up for others 3CM.... Mark -
The carpets look good to me - would you be able to do a deal if I took both the cabin and boot carpets? I'd need a posted price and would also be looking for the plastic retaining clips. ....Oh, will also need the footwell vent plastics. Everything I have is grey and I'd like to avoid having to spray anything black if at all possible. Thanks Mark

Did you get that dual circuit AP bias valve in the end Bryn? If not, there's an eBay seller with a good rep on here who does replacement original ones for around the £50 mark.... M.

...Another Rado at what you'd have to call 'proper' money. Looks a good sign; about time prices recovered a bit.

I see you had a bit of a lie-in this morning Bryn, lol! Hurry up and get this lot sorted - we've got to do mine yet! It's looking great buddy. M.

Good find Sir!

Late Black Interior Trim etc Update + Price Drop 26/6/12
MarkFoster replied to CazzaVR's topic in Parts for Sale
I realise it's not listed so bit of a long shot, don't suppose you have a black carpet set available? Thanks Mark -
I'll take the sunroof trim if volksworld13 decides not to....

Can't you just go to the stealers Karl? Not sure if they do the particular brand you mention but you can't go too far wrong with OEM for gaskets and the like.... M.

One thing that wasn't done well when I had a partial respray was the flatting back, post painting. This tends to show itself as slight waves in the lacquer where it has sank slightly as it dries - just needs a bit of effort with the rotary polisher and some very fine wet & dry. A lot of paint shops will skimp on this if they can get away with it 'cos it's time consuming. Mark

Just a tad! Does look in good nick though...

Excellent build thread Andy, very inspiring. I see what you mean about the trials and tribulations! Credit to you for sticking with it and would be a shame to see it go... M.

Haven't got mine fitted yet, but from what I've read the fixed steering column is well worth the effort. I bought all new parts for £80 (thanks Pat_McCrotch!) so not particularly expensive either. - Just need a 2nd hand polo column and I'm all sorted. Mark

I'm definitely interested but it will depend on what price we can negotiate I'm afraid - in the middle of a house move at the moment.... Mark

I find Si and Paul down at Strictly Dubs are good guys. M.

Looks nice and original; get a few more pics up fella. There's a few of us now kicking about in the Essex area so I'm sure any help you need will be forthcoming. Welcome Mark

Looks like she's passed a minor indiscretion in the last pic! Sorry, been drink'in!

We are not alone with Retractable rear spoilers

Mk 2 TT also... -
....that's been up for sale for ages now - over a year if memory serves me right.

Well, yes and no. If you went for Stealth's kit you could have that and a brake and clutch upgrade for £5.5k and not even have to get your hands dirty! You might have to go for 2nd hand OEM brake upgrade but it should be do-able. Ok, so you wont get all the fancy labels but it's still a very reputable kit. Mark

Ah yes, thank you Ian. M.
