Not too sure where manor avenue is, used to live down queens walk next to the italian shop. Ahh i think i remember seeing your rado at the sub 11 meet, i was parked right outside sub11 next to another rado. We are arranging another meet this year on May 11th, cant release any more details yet as its all in the planning stage but its going to be bigger than the sub11 meet!!!

Vr6 top mounts with mk4 golf bearings. Cost about £50 in total from tps :-) seems a lot of money but you get what you pay for at the end of the day
-
Really surprised I havnt seen you around!! I used to live in fletton and Yaxley and have always used the corrado as my daily. Now live in Stamford but always in Peterborough as I work in lynchwood. Yeah I know Sam quite well...we are arranging a Peterborough meet in may so will keep you updated on that :-)

-

-
Anybody going this year? Will be the first time I've taken the rado out of the country. Booked the hotel today :-) slightly excited even though its 8months away!!

I can take the 2 bolts out to remove the bottom bush but it just doesnt seem to want to come off. I think i will take the box somewhere to be rebuilt, at least I know I will have a decent gearbox then. Gives me a reason to get the ABF rebuilt which is sat around in the garage :)

I'm still not able to put the selector tower back in the box. Have ended up putting a new box on on Sunday and even with the box out I still can't fit the selector tower. It's defiantly not in gear or anything as I was able to push the car back to close the garage door so I'm lost for ideas!
-
Old one doesn't slot in though and the car defiantly isn't in gear either. Have a spare box so swapping it over now. Shifter tower goes into that fine though which is odd. That thread is brilliant! Explains a lot :-) don't know why my search didn't bring it up.
-
Just changing the selecter tower, cars a 1991 1,8 16v. Took the old one out but cant get the new one in. Tried re-fitting the old one too but it doesn't go. When re-fitting it doesnt go down enough and is about 1-2cm too high. Can anybody point out where i am going wrong?
-
Wings for me Sam :-)
-
Any previous owners on here of H448 BNH?
-
Jonny from fifth gear pulled up behind me in my local petrol station. Didn't know it was him thought it was a random bloke looking at the corrado, said it was a nice car and there's not many around these days. Glad he didn't look too close as the car is a state!!!
-
If for some reason the sale falls through let me know as I will be interested :-)

9x16's fit with 195/45 tyres et15. Ideally I'd be happier with the rears being spaced out another 5-10mm as the rim sits so close to the strut
-
I'm having a play around with some 9's tomorrow weather depending, having to use spacers though as 16x9's et40 won't clear g60 brakes. Will come back with what I find :-)

In regards to legal offset, I don't believe there is a law. All that matters is the tread of the tyre can not be past the edge of the arch. Rs replicas would be cool in my opinion. No need to satisfy all the scene whores who are anti fake and spend silly amounts of money. It's your car so it should be how you want it not how anyone else wants it :-)
-
Does anyone know if 9x16's et20 with 195/45 tyres will go without arch work on a valver??
